HE IS READY TO HELP YOU

Psalms  46:1  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Despite the reiteration of the word of the Lord about how close He is to us and how ready He is to help us, many of us have not fully accepted or received the word due to our level of faith.

In John 1:12 the scriptures says, but as many as received Him, to them gave He power or the right to become the sons of God, even to them that believed on His name:

This scripture made it clear that you must not only BELIEVE you must also RECEIVE Him (the word). There are multitude who believe the word but have refused to receive the word and because the process was not complete, these sets of people keeps on struggling and struggling.

God wants to help you but is your faith reaching out to Him to receive His help? Or are you among those who believe God can visit others but not you?
Throw all those ideology away and receive the help of God today.

FAITH AND PRAISE

Psalms  106:12 Then believed they HIS words; they sang HIS praise.

Romans  4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

One of the potent way to proof that you believe every word God has spoken to you is to sing praises faith
Praise is a sure and potent proof of faith. Abraham our father demonstrated this in a remarkable way.

God gave him a word about having a son at the age of 75 and he had to wait for 25 more years in order to see that prophecy fulfilled. While he waited, the Bible recorded one thing he consistently did to express his faith in the potency of the word that seems as though it will never come to pass.

He didn't just waited blindly but faithfully and the way he showed that was through his constant praises and thanksgiving. Psalms 106:12 said, the reason why they sang praises was because they believed the word of the Lord.

 8:20 THAT WE ALSO MAY BE LIKE ALL THE NATIONS; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

1 Timothy  6:6  But godliness with contentment is great gain.

We shall be concluding this exciting series on your mouth, your life and destiny focusing on the fact that, you need to have a desire but ensure that the desire you have or have seen in others is God's will for you because whatever you confess with your mouth, you automatically attract them into your life.

Now, why did the elders came and mounted pressure on Samuel to give them a king?

It was not because they had a genuine craving and desire for a leader or king but because of envy of the fact that other nations also have kings ruling over them. If their motives were genuine, God would have easily allowed it.

For example, many people wants to have whatever they see someone else have. They always have the cravings and longing to get something just because they saw someone using that thing.
 8:20 THAT WE ALSO MAY BE LIKE ALL THE NATIONS..." They asked for it simply because they were envious of those who had it.

Many men, women and ladies can go the extra mile in getting a particular dress, shoe, car, jewelry they see on others. The major reason why some are dressing the way they dress is because they claim to have a particular figure they want to look like or emulate.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it is bad to have a role model but you must have godly role models and whatever you must desire in them must be in direct alignment to the will of God for you and not them.

Many have been distracted and pulled away from their destinies by their inability to discipline themselves on what they see.

1 Samuel  8:4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
 8:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
8:7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

8:9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

8:19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

 8:21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD.
8:22 And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

We see from these scriptures that it wasn't God's will for the children of Israel to have a king at that time but because they mounted pressure on Prophet Samuel, God had to tell samuel to anoint Saul as king. When God saw their desperation to have a king, He didn't withhold it from them.

It wasn't God's plan at that time but God permitted it because they wanted it.
God was not happy with the idea but their persistency was what made the Lord give that to them.

Whatever you want is what God will permit. The same way also, whatever you disallow on earth, as long as you are persistent about it, God Himself will disallow it. Why did they require for a king? We shall see that tomorrow..

Your Mouth, Your Life And Your Destiny Part 7

See what the Lord said in Luke 21:15 " I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries shall be able to gainsay nor resist".

Think about this, wisdom comes from within you bcos Christ in you is the power and the wisdom of God(1 Cor 1:24) And without your mouth the Christ in you will be of no effect.. Wise men don't speak from their head but from their heart(within).. Have you not noticed that you act and speak wisely when you look from within yourself before you utter a word.

Everything is now ready and available in CHRIST but your confession determines what is delivered onto you.
Life will not always give you what you desire but what you demand for it is written, ask and you shall be given.
Think about this, God knows all you need before He said "ask and you shall be given" and it is what you ask that you receive according Mk11:23-24.

You have been given that authority to say it and see it just the way you have said it cos we see from the beginning when God brought all the animals to Adam to name them, it was the name Adam gave each one of them that they bear. God never changed the names, all He did was to stamp or confirm it.. Another example was when the Children of Israelites were troubling Samuel to give them a king and Samuel refused but God told Samuel that He should do as they have said to him. It was not God's choice for them to have a king at that time but they said they wanted it and God stamped it(1 Samuel 8:4-7).

JESUS our saviour who is God Himself was not quite, no wonder the devil could not displace Him or lay hold on Him until it was time to fulfill His ultimate purpose before He layed Himself down to be killed. JESUS said, no one takes my life, i lay it down (John 10:18   No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again...).

Proverbs  18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Luke  6:45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

We have been looking at important truths about the mouth and today we shall yet be considering other truths also:

♦ You will account for every idle words that you speak (Matthew 12:36).
No single word is insignificant. Every words you speak will either be to your profit or to your loss, either to your increase or decrease.
♦ What is in you will always come out under pressure.

♦ Do you also know that  it is to you according to your confession?
Numbers 14:28 "...as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you..
Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you shall have whatsoever you say and it is also written that you have not because you ask not.

♦ If you want to live long, watch what you say 1Peter 3:10   For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: This could also mean that you may never live long if you don't know how to speak well .

Your confession may not become your possession immediately because not every plant brings forth immediately, some seeds do take time to grow. If you sow death now through your negative confessions, the outcome is coming to meet you tomorrow one day as God remains God. Why do I speak and I do not see the results? We shall be looking at that in the next part.

INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: The answers you will get in life will be as a result of the questions you ask in life. What kinds of question are you asking? What kinds of words are you speaking? Mind your words!

YOUR MOUTH, YOUR LIFE AND YOUR DESTINY (Why Do I Speak And I Do Not See The Results?) Part 5

1 Corinthians  15:36  Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
Luke  18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, WHICH CRY DAY AND NIGHT UNTO HIM, though he bear long with them?

"I have spoken and spoken, I have confessed and confessed all the scriptures I know about my situation, I have even quoted scriptures into water and food and taken but yet I have not seen the results; are you sure it is worth it?" This questions may be running through your minds today, but there is an answer.

I hear the Spirit of the Lord kept saying "you fool, that which you sow is not quickened except it dies".

We must recognise the fact that, the word of God is a seed and in Ecclesiastics 11:6 we were encouraged to sow our seeds in the morning and evening because we don't know which one in particular may bring forth and also in proverbs we were also encouraged to scatter our seeds. The seed has to die first before it starts to bring forth. And all this takes process and time.

The implication of that is this, it is impossible for you to keep calling on God for a particular thing and not get it. Many a times we ask the Lord for something and we don't even stay at it till we receive it. We just ask and assume that He has answered and we keep waiting for it to manifest.

Yes, we must receive by faith but people don't pray until faith sprung up in their hearts concerning a particular issue and that was why they never go it.
So also, when you declare a thing, it may seem as though nothing is happening but a seed has already been planted which only needs to be watered to bring forth. Most of us know how to declare but we don't continue declaring because the more you declare it and thank God in advance for it, the more you water it and the more you water it, the faster it produces.

Don't stop speaking to the mountain or issue until it does move. Speak to it in the morning, speak to it in the afternoon and before you go to bed, speak to it. It will move because no matter how long, God will always step in when He notices you refuse to give up on that matter.

*NEVER STOP SAYING IT TILL YOU SEE IT NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN SAYING IT FOR GOD WILL ALWAYS CONFIRM IT WHEN YOU REFUSE TO STOP SAYING IT. HALLELUJAH!*

James  3:7  For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:  
James  3:8  But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

It is generally accepted that a closed mouth is a closed destiny but you must equally note that it is not just enough to open your mouth wide and speak because an open mouth not guided will equally be a yoke and a burden to your destiny.

How then can you open your mouth wide and speak God's counsel and will if that which you have acquired in you is not according to the will of God.

The bible says, even the widest animal on earth has been tamed by man but not the tongue and this calls for wisdom. If the bible is saying the tongue is more powerful than the widest animal on earth them you should be able to know that God who said that knows what He means. This is the more reason we have to be careful what we say.

Let's consider these important things about the mouth:

♦ We can see from Scriptures that, the mouth and the heart are connected. Prov 23:7a for as a man thinketh in his heart, so his he.

The mouth is responsible for revealing what is in your heart Matthew 12:34".... for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
The reason why Many people say evil or negative things when they are challenged is because of the content of their heart.
The content of your heart determines what flows out of your mouth and what flows out of your mouth determines what you attract into your life.

Michal David's wife who was Saul's daughter carried barrenness as her lot because she couldn't hold her mouth against the Lord's anointed (2 Samuel 6:16,20,23). This is why you must be very careful of your thoughts and words towards God's people.

One of the strongest proof of faith is your confession. We believe, therefore we speak.. There is nothing that you truly believe that you will not boldly declare. Many times, people including so called Christians refer to men of faith as proud people but that's not true.

If you call a man of faith a proud man because he declares a possibility you fail to see, you are not only accusing him/her falsely, you're also fighting his God unknowingly because he declared that based on the word. If you speak against such a person and call him names, you have only succeeded in limiting your own self because you can't fight against God and not be in big trouble.

DAILY BIBLE READING PLAN: Job 35; 2Cor 3 and Prov 17

You have a responsibility to shoot back (Don't keep Your mouth shut)

Psalms  64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
  64:3 Who WHET THEIR TONGUE LIKE A SWORD, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, EVEN BITTER WORDS:
  64:4 That THEY MAY SHOOT IN SECRET AT THE PERFECT.

Do you see what the adversary is doing? he does not shoot physical arrows, his arrows or swords or instruments are his words.

Words are extremely dangerous weapon in the Spiritual realm. They have the capacity and capability of altering things both in the spirit and in this physical realm. Look at this scriptures:
According to Ephesians  6:17 The word of God is the sword of the Spirit.

Look at all these scriptures also, Revelation  1:16  "...And OUT OF HIS MOUTH WENT A SHARP TWOEDGED SWORD... " (Rev 2:16; 19:15,21; Eph 6:17)

Now from all these scriptures, it is evident that:
♦ God's word is God's sword and the enemy's word is their sword also.
- The sword the enemy uses against you are his bitter words spoken by himself or his agents but you have to rise up and counter them using your own God given sword which are sweet, quick and powerful words (Heb 4:12).

Every words you speak either opens the door or shuts the door against your adversaries, they either grants the enemies access or block their access, they either make the enemies happy or very sad and angry.

If you refuse to undo all the enemy has planted, you will keep suffering because in Isaiah 54:17 God already told you to condemn every tongue that rises up against you. God never asked you to speak in favour of the mountains, He asked you to root them out through your words, He asked you to speak against them.

YOUR MOUTH, YOUR LIFE AND YOUR DESTINY

Psalms 103:20   Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, "hearkening unto the voice of his word".

The word of God is the voice of God in written form and the Angels of the Lord go to work whenever God speaks to do that which is spoken.

 And also we see from the beginning when God wanted to create the earth, the Holy Spirit was just hovering over the surface of the earth until God said let there be light, let there be this and that before anything happened.
This means that the Holy Spirit who is also the power of God will do nothing if we say nothing. The fact that we have the indwelling Spirit(power) of God does not mean anything if we refuse to say something.
You don't see results because you have not given your voice to the Word.
It is generally said that a closed mouth is a closed destiny.

We also have that same order of authority given by God Himself and when we put the WORD in our heart and say it with our mouth, we will see it happen just as we want it to happen.

FAINT NOT! Part 4

       Proverbs  24:10  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Psalms  119:97 O how love I thy law! it is my MEDITATION ALL THE DAY.
Joshua 1:8 THIS BOOK OF THE LAW shall not depart out of thy mouth; BUT THOU SHALT MEDITATE THEREIN DAY AND NIGHT, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

God is watching, God is recording, He is not recording just to keep records but to give rewards. Be strengthened for no single storm or trial you face is insignificant. Everything including the storms are bound to walk and work together for your good as long as you keep following the Lord irrespective.

"Faint Not!" Say that to yourself five times.

We understood from the previous parts that it takes faith not to faint, we also saw that faith are in levels and we have been looking at certain demands to building up our faith and today we shall be looking at another very important demand or key to building our faith:

♦ MEDITATION: Countless number of people do not really know what it means when God said, you shall meditate day and night. We actually have a wrong definition of meditation and that has affected our engagement of it.

 What then is meditation?
Meditation is simply thinking deeply about anything. It will also interest you to know that worrying is also meditation though in the wrong direction. This is why it is not just enough to think deeply about something, you must be mindful of what you think about because you're the product of your thoughts. (Prov 23:7 says, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he..)

The devil has never and will never be an issue to us if we as believers understand how to effectively guard your thoughts.

Your thought life is as important as your prayer and study life. No matter how much time you spend in prayer and no matter how much of the word you read, if you refuse to watch what you think, you will never amount to anything tangible in life.

David said, I will meditate upon the word all the day long. God also made it very clear to Joshua that, his prosperity and success in life is not at the mercy of all demons in hell but at the mercy of his own CONSTANT thoughts based on God's word. Always (day and night) think scriptures, and you will have a bright and glorious future.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Don't worry about your worries because your worries are actually worried about you. Spend time meditating about His glorious word and His plans for you instead of spending time thinking about the devils words unto you. Your future is at the mercy of your ability to constantly and consistently think scriptures. (Judah Olatunde)*

FAINT NOT! Part 3

       Proverbs  24:10  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Hebrews  4:12 For THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Other References: Rom 10:17; Josh 1:8)

We gave one way in which we can shift level in faith yesterday and we shall yet be considering another very vital key to great faith today:
♦ Constant and Daily Ingestion and Injection of the Word: Ingestion has to do with 'taking in' while injection has to do with 'forcing in'. Every single day, whether you feel like it or not, you must take in or force in the word.
The same way you eat natural food every day to feed your flesh and grow daily is the same way you must take in the word daily to feed your Spirit man.

If the word is quick and powerful, you can't constantly take in the word and yet be slow and very weak.

One of the major reason why multitude are weak and have little faith is because they do not take in the word of God adequately for the word is not weak and powerless but quick and powerful.

FAINT NOT! Part 2

Proverbs  24:10  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Luke  18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. (Other References: Heb 11:11; Josh 1:8; Luk 18:1)

It was established in the first part that, faith is the source of strength and with strength you can't faint but without faith you're bound to faint because your strength will be too small and you know those who faint in the days of trials faint because of little strength.

Therefore, It is impossible to faint when faith is in place but without faith you will definitely faint. This is because faith supplies strength for sustainability.

It is equally good to note that faith is in levels and faith is a living force which grows. If your faith is small, your strength also will be small and when your strength is small, you can't stand in certain seasons. This is why we need to know what it takes to shift to higher levels and dimensions of faith.

 What does it take to have a strong faith or move to another level of faith? We shall mention one today and the others will be mentioned in subsequent parts.

♦ Prayer: Jesus said men ought ALWAYS to pray, he never said men ought SOMETIMES or ONCE IN AWHILE to pray. The reason is that, prayer is not a spiritual activity you do NOT once in awhile like tithing. It is what you ought ALWAYS to do. Praying ALWAYS is not a choice but a command.

A believer who does not pray will not only be a prey to the enemy, such a believer will also have no strength at all to stand when there is a little shaking.

FAINT NOT!

       Proverbs  24:10  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. (Hebrew 11:11)

I once stumbled across these three questions which the Lord helped me to answer and He wants me to share it with you today.

Who should be blamed when a Leaf falls from the tree..
Is it the wind that blew it away,
Or
the tree that let it go,
Or
the leaf itself who grew tired holding on?

 ANSWER:
It is the leaf itself who got tired of holding on.
The wind connotes challenges, the tree connotes Christ who is holding you no matter what you go through and the leaf is you.

Now, whether you fall or not is as a product of your belief i.e your strength for it is written, through faith, Sarah received strength to conceive, this means that faith is the source of strength. How strengthened you are is as a result of how strong your faith is and also the scripture says, If you faint in the days of adversity, it is because your strength is small".

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE FAITH AND FAINT.

There are many leaves on the tree, why must you be the one to fall off? Why must you be the one? The actual truth is that, you will be the one if your faith is not strong enough.

 Be strengthened and joyful irrespective of what is happening, the glory ahead can never be compared to the gloominess around now.

Hebrews  12:14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Jesus already said multitude will not make heaven because He knew that multitude love to follow the crowd rather than the Christ. You will see people do certain negative things and when asked why they did such things, you will hear them say "even pastors are doing it".

The scripture said, follow peace with all men and Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Some will say 'but Judah, paul asked us to follow him'. Yes, he said follow me even as I follow Christ' meaning you are not permitted to me if I am not following Christ.  Why follow a man who is not following Christ?

Multitude are doing a thing does not make that thing right. What makes it right is if it agrees with God's standard. Sin is always sin no matter who is involved in it, sin is sin no matter how many are sinning it and sin is sin no matter how the world views it.

It is impossible for you to end in hell if you are not the one who chose hell by choosing to follow 'others are doing it'. No matter how many are living walking in unrighteousness, God always has a remnant.

INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Will you follow the Christ or the crowd? Others are doing it, will you also do it? The choice is yours but remember, your choice is your lot.

There is ALWAYS a Remnant Part 1

Romans  11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
 11:5 Even so then at this present time also THERE IS A REMNANT ACCORDING TO THE ELECTION OF GRACE.

Elijah the prophet saw the level of unrighteousness in the land and started crying; Lord, please take my life because I'm the only righteous man left but God made him understand that there were 7,000 more people who were not defiled.

No matter the level of decadence of the world today, there are still remnants, there are righteous men who burn with undeniable and unquenchable hunger and passion for God.

You will hear people say words like "everyone is a sinner", I don't blame such for saying it, it is because they have not discovered the power of God's grace that is able to make you walk in true biblical holiness not cutting corner kind of holiness.

No matter how worst the world gets, God still has a remnant. Therefore, do not be deceived by the words of men, no matter how countless the number of people walking in impurity are, there are still those who are walking in absolute purity and sanctity.

We are in a generation where you can't easily differentiate a believer from an unbeliever through their outlook but in the midst of these are sets of people who have vowed not to be corrupted by the fashion of this corrupted generation.

There are women living in nations where there is a record of very low temperature and the level of cold is high and yet these do not put on tight trousers jumping about on the streets. In those nations, it is very normal and very spiritual for a woman to put on trousers. But yet, some of them have made up their mind not to wear such and these are Pentecostal women. Because some people think, it is only in Orthodox churches where you can find people who do not wear certain things saying they have been indoctrinated.
 These are not Orthodox as people supposed but sound Pentecostal tongue talking believers.

But I wonder how a woman will be going on tight body exposing trousers and mini skirts in African countries like nigeria where the temperature is high all in the name of fashion.

Some men are just walking up and down on the streets like prisoners and many claim to be born again and even serving in units in churches. What! Are we playing God or religion or the devil? I guess its the devil and religion because no mortal man can play God.

Multitude will be shocked at the last days how they will be disqualified for entering heaven just because of little things. You know those things you call little; malice, unforgiveness, hatred, inordinate affection, pride, lies, immoral lifestyles, etc

RIGHT MENTALITY TO SERVICE

Matthew  25:15 And unto one he gave FIVE TALENTS, to another TWO, and to another ONE; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
25:17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. (Matt 25:15-30; Luke2:49b)

Every parable of scripture was an event that actually took place either in heaven or on earth or is an event that is ordained to take place in the future. No single parable of scripture is insignificant or unrealistic.

We saw an example of a man giving talents to His servants and that man was God Himself. Many believers are like that one man who after receiving heaven's deposit and virtue and or gift went and hid the gift or virtue. By reason of that singular action which was as a product of his wrong mentality, that which was given to him was not only withdrawn from him, he also suffered for it.

What then is the right mentality towards serving God?

You MUST know that, there is a kind of mentality you MUST possess as you serve GOD. GOD is a business man and no business man wants to run at a loss. So also, if you must be profitable and get your complete reward in your service to God, you must possess a business man's mentality even as He.

Jesus for instance was able to go through the cross because He possessed that same business mentality. He placed the harvest and glory to come before Him. This was part of the reason He didn't give up. He was weakened too yet, because of the joy that was set before Him, He dared to endure the cross, shame, reproach, mockery and the hardship.

IS IT ENOUGH? THERE IS STILL MORE Part 3

Psalms  2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession (Isaiah 41:17-18).

There is so much more if only you truly need more.
If all I ever felt was the nearness of God at 2013 when He visited me, I won't be near where I am today. Because one revelation of God can do so much but it is not enough.

One revelation of God is not enough to carry you through life. You need as many as possible but this is definitely impossible without genuine hunger and humility. We have talked about that in the previous parts, we will look into another two requirements to accessing more of Him today:

♦ Prayer: No matter how long you may have been a Christian, even if you're a preacher or anything, if you're not prayerful, there are things you will NEVER see and comprehend in the Spirit. There are levels of intimacy you will never get with God if you're not prayerful.

♦ Worship (Thanksgiving): God loves to manifest Himself in atmospheres of worship.
You can't separate God from worship and even in heaven, the major activity that goes on there which will be for eternity is worship and the celebration of the Loveliness, Greatness, Awesomeness and the Almightiness of GOD.

When prayer and worship becomes your natural habit, God will make you and your atmosphere His habitat which will in turn grant you access to unprecedented revelations of God.

James  4:6  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

We are too soon satisfied, we know too much, we have experienced so much and we don't want to experience more. We are in the worst generation in terms of hunger for God. About 70 percent of believers worldwide don't have genuine hunger for God including preachers. Multitude don't even know what it is to fear God and that is because we don't even know God.

Lester Sumrall said "Believers don't perceive further than their first revelation of God". And I agree with him because all what some have experienced as the nearness of God and His revelation is all about the first few days they got born again. After that, they never strive to perceive further or know more.

Paul had wonderful revelation of who Jesus was at his point of salvation but if he had stopped there we will not be talking about Paul today. This man went further to seek God even more and today, he is a reference point all over the world.

We looked at one requirement to knowing more of God yesterday and we shall be considering yet another one today:
♦ Humility: The reason why many refuse to grow in God is due to the manifestation of the spirit of pride.

There is nothing you have now that no one else does not have, there is no results that you've seen that someone else have not seen. If you're beautiful, there is someone else more beautiful than you. If I can preach well, multitude are better than me and can even teach more better. It's only an election of grace and opportunity I am being given to serve.
 There is nothing you have that someone else does not have even in abundance. Humble yourself! Don't be high minded.

It was Kathryn Kuhlman that said "I don't believe God has given me anything special, I don't believe He has given me something He cannot give to someone else. If you dare to pay the price you can have just what He has given me".

Philippians  3:10  THAT I MAY KNOW HIM, and the power of HIS resurrection, and the fellowship of HIS sufferings, being made conformable unto HIS death (John 7:37-38; Isaiah 44:3)

Often than none, some of us have been victims of our pride. We know so much that we desire to know no more and this is the reason why some NEVER come to the greater light and revelation of Christ.

Many are so satisfied with the little portion they can perceive or see or access in God when there is greater things you have NEVER seen and perceive.

Where you are now is the least to where God wants you to be. Who you are now is the least of who God wants you to be. What you have now is the least compared to what God wants you to obtain. Therefore, never claim you have arrived because there is so much more God has in store for you which you have not even seen talk-less of accessing.

Paul after seeing so much, after preaching so much, after writing so many mysteries was still crying 'that I may know Him'. And the truth is that, many today have not seen or access 10 percent of what Paul accessed and yet are satisfied with what they have.

What then is the major requirements to knowing more?
 We shall look at one in this first part and others in the subsequent parts.

♦ Hunger: The major requirement to knowing more is an ever increasing hunger to know more.

WRONG ZEAL; A PRODUCT OF WRONG KNOWLEDGE

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that THEY HAVE A ZEAL OF GOD, BUT NOT ACCORDING TO KNOWLEDGE

 So many started off with extra vigor, exuberance and great optimism only to crash at certain moments in their walk with God. The reason why many will walk out of God in certain seasons is because they were misinformed and as a result of that bow out due to the pressures of life.

Pleasures and pressures are two different things that has trapped many great potentials and the realization of many glorious destinies.

Certain people have crashed because of the intensity of the pressures of life while some others have crashed due to the comfortability and pleasures of life.

The Lord was sounding a great warning to His people in the book of Deuteronomy 6:10-12; He said, be careful after I've given you these things and much tranquility, so that you won't forget me and walk away.

Misinformation is more deadly than complete lack of knowledge. The reason is that, when you lack knowledge, God can still show you or bring people that will give you that knowledge but when you have been wrongly informed about a matter, you will not want to neglect your old wrong knowledge and embrace the new one and this will make your ruin more worst than those who have zero knowledge about it.

It is therefore a great error to stop learning, unlearning and relearning. Be prayerful and do not get tired of growing in knowledge of Christ so as to be guided continually into all truths by the Spirit of the Lord.

ZEALOUS BUT EMPTY

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, BUT NOT ACCORDING TO KNOWLEDGE.

There are so many believers today, they have surrendered their hearts to Jesus completely but yet bankrupt of knowledge of certain kingdom principle.

Paul said, these sets of people have so much zeal but yet lacked the right knowledge.

For instance, the reason why multitude of believers are still being oppressed may be because of lack of action i.e they have refused to do the things they know but the greater percentage of believers that are still being oppressed lack certain knowledge and understanding of the operations of the Spirit. They know something but that which they know has not worked because it was not according to the revelation of Christ to them.

There are certain things God will show you that will make you rule over all powers of darkness without sweat. These truths will make you shine in the midst of thick darkness. There are things you will see or know by the Spirit that will settle the matter of witches and wizards forever. You will live your life as though they do not exist.

If it should be by physical size or outlook, many of us have no chance but it is not by size but by the quality of your insight or revelation of the Spirit.

WRONG ZEAL OR WRONG MOTIVE

Paul was showing us examples of believers who seem to have so much zeal or passion but yet their passion was not right because their passion was not according to the true knowledge of Christ.

From our text, it is evident that, they had knowledge but yet their knowledge was from the wrong source and this made their passion to be a wrong one.
Misinformation is as dangerous and equally destructive as lack of knowledge.

In life, whatever you do is as a result of what you know. If your knowledge is wrong, it is impossible for your actions to be right. The mistake we make as believers is that, we equate good actions as right actions. An action can be good but completely unwanted and even devastating.

There are so many people serving God today for the purpose of the benefits they will get. For these ones, their motives or passion for serving God is not right and thus can fall away at any time when challenges arises.

These people may express so much vigor and zeal in service and good works but yet their passion was gotten in a wrong way and thus cannlead to their destruction. The source of your passion will determine how long you will last in the faith.

For some of us, what has kept us in the faith has been unusual order of hunger, it is an hunger that cannot be explained, you are just permanently hungry for God, to be with Him irrespective of all that is happening around you. Dr. Paul Enenche calls it "an hunger that can't be conquered".

TRUNCATION OF DIVINE ELECTION

1 Samuel  2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

1 Samuel  16:1  And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

Lester Sumrall after about over 60 years of preaching and traveling all over the world said "I'm trying to live my life carefully at this stage of my life than at my beginning".

From the beginning even up til today, man has been known to be responsible for choosing between either fulfilling divine plan i.e accepting divine plan or rejecting divine plan.

Adam was made a man full of authority but yet he lost his dominion due to his own choices. Lot was blessed due his connection to Abraham but he lost all with time as he disconnected from Abraham.

God had already designed that lot be blessed by submitting to Abraham but since lot became high minded, God had to orchestrate his separation from Abraham which led to his lose.

Eli was preordained by God to walk before the Lord including his generations to come. This man got an insurance of a lifetime for all his generations to come but because of His own ways and decisions, he truncated divine plan.

Esau sought the restoration of his birthright with tears but it became too late. There are things you will lose that will come back but certain things can NEVER come back.

Even if great prophets pray for you, those things will NEVER come back. For instance, if Mary had lost her virginity, such favour can never be restored because she would never have been fit to give birth to Jesus. The truncation of certain plans of God can never be restored no matter how merciful God is. Take Caution! Be careful!!

 Certain destinies can't be restored. There is no single Prophet in this generation that God spoke to like Moses. Moses whom God spoke to face to face could not convince God to make him enter the promise land after he had disobeyed God. Therefore, don't think you can beg God to reverse certain things after you have walked in your own way.

GREATNESS BY ELECTION Part 2

  9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

You're not the one who just woke up and decided to be great, God Himself had already ordained you for greatness. Your starting point may be gloominess but your end point is glory and dignity.

Jesus came down to the earth to show us a mystery which has been before the world was how that your location or where you were born has no power to determine your end in life.

Even if Jacob had not followed his mother's opinion, he would still have gotten the blessing. The reason is because he was already chosen and as long as he kept on walking with God, God was committed to see to it that everything spoken concerning him was fulfilled.

Have you ever wondered why Esau sold his birthright? Or do you just assumed it was just due to hunger? No it wasn't. It was a prophecy that led to that.

If Esau had known he was about to sign a contract which he would never be able to retract, he wouldn't have done that but because the process had been completed spiritually, the physical process too had to be concluded seeing that Jacob never went against divine will.

You have been chosen, specially selected and elected to become very great in Him.

Believers have been defeated not because of the strength of the adversary but because of the insufficiency of the weapons and armors available unto them. God said in Hosea 4:6 *MY PEOPLE* are destroyed because of the lack of knowledge. This goes to say that, that you are God's own does not mean you can't be destroyed.

If you do not want to be destroyed or fall victim to all the whiles of the devil, you MUST take the whole armour of God. Taking some of the armours and weapons will still make you a victim.

For instance from our text, the shield of faith can quench ALL the fiery darts of the enemy but many people have taken the helmet of salvation, taken the sword of the Spirit, the breast plate of righteousness and they even preach the gospel but because they refuse to build up their faith, they still find themselves suffering defeat.

Romans  8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Before the Lord sent us into this world, He had chosen and ordained us in Him specially for greatness. Everyone born again today has an enviable destiny. THE PIT MAY BE YOUR STARTING POINT BUT THE PEAK IS YOUR ENDING POINT ACCORDING TO REDEMPTION.

GOD has not called you unto shame and reproach but unto glory and virtue (1Peter 1:3). You were not saved to be subjected but you're saved to be elevated. You were not saved to be subjected to powers of darkness but to subdue all powers of darkness.

The top is where you belong in life no matter where you're today even if it is at the bottom. God won't save you if He can't help you. You were not saved to beg for help but to be helped without begging.

DON'T GIVE UP, DON'T KILL YOURSELF, YOUR TIME IS COMING Part 2

Luke  3:23 "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age..."
Ecclesiastes  3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Until your time comes, no matter what you do, certain things will NEVER HAPPEN to you and even through you. Ask Jesus, the whole world was at stake and yet the Father kept Him waiting for 18 good years. Do you think that was just 18days? No. That was 365 days x 18= 6,570days.

Jesus had to wait for extra 6,570days even after discovering His purpose. He spent those long years in the carpenters shop.

 Stop worrying, stop panicking, stop crying and stop troubling yourself. Give yourself a great rest in your mind. Settle down and follow God, stop counting days and start thanking God and rejoicing because your time will come and it won't pass you by

*God is more interested in the fulfillment of your glorious destiny than you're more interested in it. So calm down. Don't kill yourself before you time.*

There are certain favours you WILL NEVER enjoy until your time comes. There are certain graces you will NEVER experience until your time comes, there are certain connections that will NEVER be made until your time comes. So be still and prepare ahead of time.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Instead of panicking and worrying, start preparing and preparing. It is far better to prepare than to desire. Desire is not enough, prepare for whatsoever you desire. This will hasten the fulfilment (Judah Olatunde).*

*Prayer: Father, I thank you for everything you've done for me. I ask that you will forgive me of every time I have ever spent blaming you for delaying me in this area (mention them). Give me an undeniable grace to stand and wait for your perfect timing for me in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
