Topic: Understanding Uprightness Of Character – (DIGC) Seeds of Destiny Devotional by Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche “Dunamis International Gospel Centre” Date: Tuesday, 31st July 2018.

SCRIPTURE: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you believe and behave is what you become.

Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that righteousness is ey to elevation in life; but sin is a reproach. To maintain uprightness in character, there is a need to understand what it is to be upright because what you believe and behave is what you become.

Now, what does uprightness of character entail?
1. The possession of the fear of God
Uprightness of character is existence in the reverential fear of God like Job (Job 1:1). Many people in church today do not fear God and so, they do whatever they like. To fear God is to depart from evil.

2. It is a possession of a lively
conscience
This is having a conscience that is alive and void of offence (Acts 24:16). To maltreat people is to live without conscience. To be upright in character is to possess a lively conscience.

3. It is operation with the right motive
To be upright is to do the right thing with the right motive. It is not uprightness to do the right thing with the wrong motive. (2 Chronicles 25:2).

4. Uprightness of character entails the passion to please God in our lives and in our actions
It is living, not just to please others at the expense of God but living to please God.

5. Consideration for the feelings and welfare of others
Righteousness is reflected in the way we treat people. Wickedness does not equal righteousness.

6. The willingness to take a stand even if it means to stand alone
Noah took a stand for God alone; God found only him to be righteous in his generation.

My counsel is, endeavour to live a lifestyle of righteousness.
Remember this: What you believe and behave is what you become.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Live consciously in the fear of God and maintain a lively conscience.
2. Develop a feeling for others
3. Always do things with the right motive.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask for the grace to live in your fear and have a lively conscience. Help me always to live in the right motive and to please You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
1 Samuel 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. (Also read Acts 13:22).

When we look through the mirror of the Word, we can see the Lord but yet not all can see when they look because many have been shrouded.

What a peace we find. What a joy we see. What an intimacy we enjoy with the Spirit for He gets to chat with us but first we must see.

The Lord crieth out, who is blind but my servant. You must grow to be a son indeed that the Lord can trust, having been made to pass through intense fire.

Seeking Him is evidently one way to getting to the very heart of God.Yes, God loves everyone but He has certain choices for the Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men TO SEE if there be any that did understand and indeed seek Him. David was a man after God's own heart, was there no other person that loved God during that time too? Surely there was but he decided to separate himself from the crowd.

A man can say he loves everybody but yet his love for his wife can't be compared to that of the crowd. Does he not love them all? Yes, he does but you can't compare the level of intimacy that exist between that man and his wife to the one between him and the crowd.

Will you be one of those closer to His heart by seeking Him with all your heart DAILY and EVERY single moment of your life?

If you want to be among those God is going to pay special attention to, then you must ensure you pay special attention to Him by seeking Him EVERY single moment of your life. Long for Him, seek Him for scriptures has assured us that He will draw near to us if we dared to draw near to Him.

TOPIC: The Importance of Living as a Generational Problem Solver

SCRIPTURE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The voice of impact makes you live beyond your time.

God wants to take you from the realm of impacting just a person to the realm of impacting families, communities, states and nations; that is living as a generational problem solver. It is living to be an asset, blessing, answer, and illumination, not just to the people around you but to communities, states and nations. This is what living as a generational problem solver means.

MESSAGE: Now, what is the implication of this kind of lifestyle to your health and vitality?

1. Living beyond yourself is living beyond your time
When Dorcas, for example, died, the widows showed Peter the proofs of the impacts she made on their lives, then Peter prayed and she came back to life (Acts 9:36-39). Impact has a voice. The voice of impact makes you live beyond your time. The good deed you do today speaks for you tomorrow in times of need.

2. Generational Impact provokes generational goodwill which results in personal welfare.

One day, Jesus Christ was preaching and a woman stood in the crowd and said, ‘Blessed be the breast that gave this man suck. She seemed to have said, ‘I am the reason your mother gave birth to you. Thank God for the breasts that breastfed you.’ (Luke 11:27 paraphrased).

Beloved, God will bring you to the point where generations will thank God because of you. And when people who are praying for you are many, the prayer you are to pray for yourself will reduce.

Your prayer and wish now is how God will help others.
Remember this: The voice of impact makes you live beyond your time.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Decide to live beyond your time by impact.
2. Pray for God to use you for the deliverance and salvation of families, communities, states and nations.

Most a times when we speak about men whom God hath visited, we have a frame of mind which makes us believe that these men are special species or beings of people and this is the more reason why I love women like Kathryn Kuhlman who said "I don't believe God has given me anything special, there's nothing I have that you cannot have if only you will dare to pay the price".
Maria Woodworth Etter one of the most powerful ancient revivalist was a woman who saw herself as a wormwood but when she asked for the power, the Lord didn't hesitate to empower her and today, she lives even forever more due to the impact she was able to make by reason of the mighty power of the Spirit.

John from this place was introducing himself so that you won't think that he's someone special. He said, see, I am your brother, I also went through the same tribulation, I am not an angel, I am not a kind of stranger or someone that just appeared out of the blue. "Revelation 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, ....."

What God is saying to you today is that, if He can visit John, if He can visit all the men and women you've heard about He can visit you too and all you need is to believe that He is not a respecter of person.

ONE THING HAVE I DESIRED of the LORD, THAT WILL I SEEK AFTER; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Psalms 63:8
AMP: MY WHOLE BEING FOLLOWS HARD AFTER YOU and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me.

Is God blind that He cannot see? Or has He suddenly fell asleep? Is He showing favoritism? Why then does He not seem to walk and work in this generation beyond what He used to do in the past? Is He asleep?

He's not asleep neither is He a partial God, the question we should try and answer is "are we really hungry for more of Him? Do we have any desire for more of Him? Is our hearts truly panting for more of Him?"

The thoughts of life, the cares of life and works has overhauled the hearts of men from hearing and seeing the word of God that comes with such an intensity of power to change and make them change agents.

The groanings and the hunger that births the impossible is missing in today's generation for many are either carried away or are not even ready for it at all, we are soon satisfied with the crumbs that we have np desire for the real bread and we chase after shadows looking for solutions instead of trying our best to pay the price so that we ourselves may become the solution. May the Holy Spirit burn in you afresh and cause you to seek Him like never before, may you never be satisfied with just being a normal and casual Christian in Jesus name. I am so hungry for more of Him but are you hungry at all?

*Insights for today: Men who sought Him and found Him ended up in distinction. Will you dare to make Him your priority for living?*

TOPIC: WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE AS A GENERATIONAL PROBLEM SOLVER

SCRIPTURE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live as a generational problem solver is to live as an answer to the questions of people.

In the previous day, we saw that David lived and took the responsibility of tending his father’s flock which his elder brothers avoided, and that led him to having the experience of killing the lion and the bear, which in turn gave him both the credential and the confidence to confront and kill Goliath. He lived as a generational problem solver.

Now, what does it mean to live as a generational problem solver?
1. It means to be a generational solution provider
This is a situation where you live to solve the problems and challenges of a whole family, community, state, or nation. When you are helped by God to be a solution to the problems of people, then you are living as a generational solution provider.

2. It means living as a generational answer
To live as a generational problem solver is to live as an answer to the questions of people.

3. It means living as a generational blessing
Your life is a blessing to a family, city, community, nation, etc.

4. It means living as a generational asset
It is living as an asset and not a liability. Your life, by virtue of your impact, becomes an asset to your generation.

5. It means living as a generational illumination
It is living to erase darkness from people’s lives – be it the darkness of ignorance, under-development, mediocrity, poverty, diseases, witchcraft activities or anything that is not compatible with the plan of God for humanity.

Beloved, do not close your eyes when you see the needs of people. Do not feign ignorance of people’s challenges.

Remember this: To live as a generational problem solver is to live as an answer to the questions of people.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Prayerfully identify the problems of a family, community, state or nation and ask God to give you the capacity to solve them.
2. Live as an asset, answer, blessing and illumination to your generation.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask for the grace to be a generational problem solver. Take me beyond solving the problem of one person to solving the problem of families, communities, states and nations, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14,16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The responsibility you handle today positions you for the possibilities, opportunities and authority you will experience tomorrow.

A major way to make the most of life is to live as a generational problem Solver.
Living as a generational problem solver involves deploying oneself to solving generational problems and challenges confronting society at large. A person’s life today is a seed for the harvest of tomorrow. The actions of today position a person for the manifestations of tomorrow.

David was a very good example of a generational problem solver. While his elder brothers were idling about, David tended the father’s flock in the wilderness. If David had refused to take charge of his father’s business, he would not have amounted to anything in life just like the rest of his siblings. If David was not interested in tending his father’s flock, probably, none of his brothers would have done it. He was the last born of the family who should have been pampered and protected by all but his brothers pushed him to the bush to face lions and bears. Despite that, he made up his mind to take the family’s responsibility as a child. That responsibility he took exposed him to the experience of killing the lion and the bear, and that was a stepping stone to killing Goliath.

There are many people who are handling the responsibilities that their elder ones are meant to handle. They handle things bigger than their age. My counsel is, do not complain because the responsibility you handle today positions you for the possibilities, opportunities and authority you will
experience tomorrow.

So, what you do today for a family or a community qualifies you for what God would use you to do for a nation or nations tomorrow. Please deploy yourself to serving God and humanity as a generational problem solver.

Remember this: The responsibility you handle today positions you for the possibilities, opportunities and authority you will experience tomorrow.

Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

Now we SEE that God is not a man only when we behold Him to the point of total transformation into His own very image.

Did you notice what I said up there? Now we see, I didn't say, "now we know"..
What's my reason for that?
As you keep seeking Him, you go beyond just knowing to seeing, it becomes like an infusion into your spirit man that makes you know beyond doubt that "this God is Not a man". The infusion is such a strong one that makes it look as though you're not a mortal man by reason of your transformation.

Thomas heard that Jesus was risen but he still didn't believe until he saw. Hearing that Jesus was alive only made him know i.e it only gave him a knowledge but when he saw with his own eyes he had an experience that was beyond knowledge.
This is what happens as you continue to seek Him. He takes you from knowing about Him to experiencing Him.

GOD seekers, it is not about the KNOWLEDGE, it's ALL about INTIMACY, its all about experiencing for yourself who He really is. You can't seek Him and not find Him and you can't find Him and not be changed into His image. Keep seeking Him!

*Insights for today: When you seek Him, you will find Him. If you won't find Him, He would Never have asked you to seek Him. You've known about Him by the hearing of the ear for a long time, its now time for you to truly know Him by experience.*

♦ *TOPIC: GOD SEEKERS (MISPLACED PASSION)*

Psalms 27:4 "ONE THING HAVE I DESIRED OF THE LORD, THAT WILL I SEEK AFTER; ..."

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Call for prayers and tag it "Breakthrough services, blessings, marital destiny and prosperity services", you will be amazed at the massiveness of the crowd that will turn up but when there are services arranged to pray for the lost souls or seek God or worship Him, you will be so frightened to see that very little are truly and genuinely passionate about such services.

This generation has been highly plagued by the demons of misplaced passion. Such demons makes people unnecessarily busy and passionate about things that have no eternal value and things that are inconsequential.

Paul said, I bear them record that they have zeal. Paul was saying, it is not as though these people do not have zeal, but this zeal is a misplaced one because it is not according to knowledge.

You don't need to think or look far in order to confirm this, look at your own life and access yourself, what moves you the most? Why do you want to pray and fast? Is it just because you're looking for some mundane things? What are you more passionate about in life? What is it that you could spend and be spent for? What is it that you could sacrifice your time and life for? What are your major reasons for going to church? What are your major prayer points?

Multitude don't have a kingdom focused hunger or drive, the reason why many are frustrated and even some ended up giving up on God is all due to personal benefits or gain. The reason why some wants to have money is to prove a point and show off so that men could know they have arrived. Why do you want to be on fire for God? The reason why certain people want to preach or wants to serve God is to be noticed or given honorarium and once some of them are not noticed, they pick up offences.

*Insights for today: Realign your passion, set your priorities and give God His first place. He won't make you the last when you make Him the first in your life.*

Topic: The Products of Quality Relationships

Scripture: We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1 John 3:14

Thought For The Day: The life that is surrounded by love escapes existence in affliction and adversity.

Maintaining quality relationships is critical to success and destiny fulfilment. Having quality relationships and investing in people is one of the keys to making the most of life. This is because what you release to others in times of peace is released backed to you in times of challenges. Therefore, it is important to live beyond yourself.

Now, what are the benefits of quality relationships?
1. Love is key to life because love activates the life of God in us
When we love people, we escape the realm of premature death and disease to the realm of life. To love is to live while to hate is to die. Loving is living while hating is dying. Love will excuse death and permit life (1 John 3:14).

2. To be surrounded by love is to survive adversity.
In Acts 14:20, the Bible says, Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

After Paul the apostle was stoned, the people (his loved ones) stood round about him and he rose up. This means, when you are surrounded by love, no adversity can survive in your life. The life that is surrounded by love escapes existence in affliction and adversity.

Beloved, the Lord will make you a quality person and He will send quality people into your life for quality and profitable relationships in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The life that is surrounded by love escapes existence in affliction and adversity.

Assignments:
1. Endeavour to be a loving and caring person.
2. Quality relationship begins with you; give and it shall be given you; love and you shall be loved; care and you shall be cared for.

Prayer: O Lord, I receive the grace to love people unconditionally. Help me to live a sacrificial life of caring for and giving to others, Lord, in Jesus’ Name

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, WHICH WE HAVE HEARD, WHICH WE HAVE SEEN WITH OUR EYES, WHICH WE HAVE LOOKED UPON, AND OUR HANDS HAVE HANDLED, OF THE WORD OF LIFE.
1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

It is one thing to be free and it is another thing entire to enjoy freedom all the remaining days of your life, deliverance can come by going to church but going to church can't make you remain free because you spend more time at home than in church and one truth in Christ is that, you can ascend to that realm in the Spirit by the grace of God and by the reason of your consistency with the word and prayer where you enjoy unusual victory irrespective of how many demons come against or hate you.

Assuming you have a house that has a gate and the gate is locked; in most cases people lock both the gate and the entrance to the house using different keys. It means the gate key is not always the same with the main key to the entrance of the house.
But is it possible for you to enter that house without first opening the gate lock? No. You can't say, since you're the owner of the house, then you don't need to open the gate before going ahead to enter the house. This is why, even when the gate key is missing, you can't have access to the house; not because the house is not yours but because a major key is missing.
People today now consider going to church everyday as a sign of spiritual growth, No! That's not true but one thing is certain, you can't truly be addicted to the word and prayer and not naturally want to be in church.
Other keys may be in place, if the main key is unavailable, you will still suffer defeat as a Christian.
Who you are doesn't change anything, even if you're an apostle, prophet or man of God or just a laity, without certain keys being in place, you will never experience COMPLETE/TOTAL victory over forces of darkness.

The reason why many people enjoy victory today and by tomorrow, they suffer defeat is just because something is missing.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

If the son of God was made manifest to destroy the works of the devil, why then are we still being influenced by the devil? Why are many believers still being oppressed and manipulated by the devil?

From the first part yesterday, we saw how we can be free from all oppressions of the devil, this are not just trrial and error principle neither are these motivational principles. These are kingdom principles that have been proven over time and I am a living testimony to the efficacy of these divine principles.

We looked at one of the principles yesterday and today, we shall be looking at yet another vital principle.

2. Consistent word intake:
It was amazing how the devil came to tempt THE WORD with THE WORD, he suffered defeat not because Jesus was the word but because Jesus knew the word.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
If you don't know your right, the devils will take you for a ride. No matter who you claim to be, you may even be a man of God, if you don't know your right or if you don't have access in the word, you will be oppressed and your life will be filled with many demonic and satanic operations. You can't control what is happening when you lack the knowledge of what is written.
And how then can you know your right if you're not a man/woman given to the study of the word? You must give yourself to study or hear the word if you must be able to overcome all satanic forces.

*Insights for Today: You can't control what is happening when you lack the knowledge of what is written. The word of God is the power of God and when you have the word in you, you have His power in you.*

Out of the abundance of grace have we all been made to have access in God that has kept us on top of the devil, our lives now radiate a light that darkness cannot prevail against. We have tasted certain truths by reason of His grace and walked in dominion by reason of His grace and truth that lives forever more.

People wonder if ever they would ever come to a point where they will be free from all oppressions of the devil, some can't even sleep peacefully due to fear of having bad dreams and being molested or harassed in the dream. You say, "this is not who I am but how come I still experience this attacks?".

There is a solution but as simple as it looks, it is quit demanding.
First, you must know that for you to be completely free from all powers of darkness, you must be ready to fight or go against your flesh and secondly, it must be clear enough to you that "ONCE FREE IS NOT FOREVER FREE".

What do I mean by this?
Looking at the book of Luke 11 24 Jesus gave a parable and ended by showing us a possibility of how one can be genuinely delivered and yet be repossessed by even more demon than that which he/she has in the first place. This is the reason why so many are going for deliverances almost every week and are getting delivered from the same demon week in week out. The reason is because these sets of people didn't know a truth that says, "you must ensure you're never empty".

★ What then are the two major keys ?
1. Consistency in prayer: Jesus said, men ought ALWAYS to pray and not to faint (Luke 18:1). So many Christians still think Jesus was joking when He said out ought ALWAYS to pray, He wasn't mimicking words, neither was He trying to know which words to use. Always means ALWAYS, ALWAYS means CONSISTENTLY.

If you will dare to have a consistent prayer life or a buoyant daily prayer altar, you will see the Egyptians you saw before no more.

*Insights for Today: The devils have no respect for a prayerless man. Prayer does not only give you power, prayer itself is power.*

Luke 1:57 Now ELISABETH'S FULL TIME CAME that she should be delivered.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

It was at the age of 30 that Jesus himself began to be (Luke 3:23). He couldn't be unless he was up to 12 years old. What if He had spent time worrying when He was 9 or ten years and we also saw that, He was launched into ministry at the age of 30. What if He had wasted the whole 18years worrying and asking God certain unreasonable questions like many of us do today?

Someone very close to me recently said, in everything, Olatunde, you're fond of saying "don't worry". And when I observed, i noticed it was true but the actual truth is that how can I be doing God's business? My business is to love, seek and serve Him irrespective of all that is happening. Besides, He Himself asked me not to worry. Worrying will amount to faithlessness and a proof of lack of trust in Him. I am not saying this is easy but I know it is possible. Three words are very close to my heart, "Hallelujah! Thank you Holy Spirit and don't worry".

Your time is coming, don't kill yourself because you are jobless, homeless, delayed, stagnated. Don't frustrate your destiny for nothing. Zachariah was not praying for child at the time the angel came which shows that God had heard his prayer a very long time ago. The reason why it seemed God was silent when Zachariah asked was because God had already ordained a time for Him to be visited.

Everything you're to do and become in life had been ordained by the Lord long before you were born, so *God was not thinking of what to do with you after He had made you because He already planned every single thing you will do and become long before you arrive in your mother's womb.*

In life, you will see things happen but do not worry, your full time will suddenly show up. I decree by the power of God, your full season is activated in Jesus name. You shall experience the mighty hand of God and your soul shall find true rest in Jesus name.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Be careful for nothing, your life is secured in Him. As long as He is not a man, you have no single need to worry but just ensure you follow His leading so that you may not end up in having loses.*

Life is shrouded in pains, troubles, delays and so much huddles and thus, everyone has one challenge or the other.

But while some have overcome theirs, so many others don't even know what to do to come out of their own challenges.

We shall be looking at some vital things to overcoming life's trials or challenges.

★ Have a deep understanding that your turn or time will come:
There is something about having certain knowledge that will give you strange confidence and rest even in the midst of troubles or trials of life.

It is generally noted that people are fond of comparing themselves with others and thus have a risk of envying the other person in a negative way.

In the book of Luke 1:57, the bible says a time came in the life of Elizabeth when it was now fully time for her to deliver.

If you start reading from Luke chapter 1:11, you will find out that Zachariah wasn't even praying and asking God for a child before the angel came in and told him his prayers has been heard and that he would have a son.

The mystery about time is something that only God Himself can explain.
You must know with certainty that time is a revealer, there were certain things that were not happening in my life until certain times came.

Whether you like it or not, whether you're prepared for it or not, your time will definitely come as long as you're alive. It is turn by turn. Elizabeth didn't need any prayer point when her full time came. May the Lord hasten your time to be visited in Jesus name. Amen.

Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

From the first part, it was clear that praise/worship or Thanksgiving is the most relegated and most neglected weapon of war but it is crucial we differentiate between just a battle and a war because the topic never said, "praise is the most neglected weapon of battle but war".

What then is the difference between battle and the war?
Battle is like a short tussle or fight between two or more groups of people and weapons may be used here but war is a fight that involves larger groups of people and it could be for over a period of time.

Battles may not be extensive or colossal but wars are always extensive. Wars are fought tirytt l over a long period of them.

No matter how long you've spent in the war, no matter how hard you've tried to come out of that worrisome situation, it can end this month if you will try and engage this weapon. Victory is guaranteed in Christ Jesus for as long as you're willing and ready to obey the word.

Praise or worship can break down every impossible walls resisting your inheritance in Christ just as it broke down the wall of Jericho. Jericho was like a war unto God's people, God had promised to give His people a land flowing with milk and honey but there was a resistance that hindered them from entering that promised land not until God asked them to engage in a praise.

*Insights For Today: Praise is such a powerful mystery but can't deliver if you're not willing to engage it.*

The people who had always been around Saul knew that something strange had happen to him. It was not a sign or a change that is hidden, it is something that was too evident to be mistaken.

Many who had been around him knew who he was, he thought he was hidden but they know him too well for them not to notice the great change. If God can change Saul, He can change any body, if He can make a way for the children of Israel then, what else can't He do?

He changed the life of Moses, a chicken hearted man became a ruler of God's own inheritance just by the mystery of power.

The power of God is illimitable and if there is someone that the power couldn't change, it is that, such a person has adamantly chosen not to change.

Is Saul also among the prophets? How was he able to prophesy for the first time coming in the midst of prophets. He had nothing to learn, it was all an instantaneous change.

*Insights For Today: God can change anybody but before any change occur there must first be a submission.*

2 Chronicles 20:1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
20:13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
20:14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;
20:16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. (Read to verse 25)

A time came in the life of the children of Israel when Jehoshaphat was a king, three nations came up against them for to destroy them. Jehoshaphat was afraid and proclaimed a fast through out all the land in order to seek God for a divine intervention.

God being a merciful King who always arises to the occasion in order to defend His people. God told Jehoshaphat "tomorrow go down against them for you shall not need to fight in this battle, set yourself, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord".

Indeed, the next day arrived and Jehoshaphat did one thing that was completely foolish to the common sense.. He appointed singers and sent them ahead of themselves.
I expected him to arm his men with clubs and spears and shield but instead of arming them, he decided to appoint singers and as they began to sing, the Lord stepped into the battle.

The major lesson here is that, God never said "praise or worship me, He never asked him to appoint singers but he was a wise man and thus he stepped ahead to give to God what God can't give to Himself.

Praise/Worship is a confirmed and potent weapon of deliverance and divine intervention but how many are willing to subscribe to this massive channel.

Remember, it was a war that this praise ended. Papa E. A. Adeboye calls it "victory without a fight". If you want victory without a fight tune in to praise channel. To be continued..

There are certain things that will happen to you in life that will make those who use to know you completely wonder and begin to ask questions.

Concerning Paul the apostles, the people wondered saying, "he now preached the gospel which he once rose up to fight and destroy".

Acts 9:20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

There was such a mighty change in the life of Saul that made everyone wonder. They were astonished because Paul was never among the list of men they thought such a drastic change could happen to.

All these examples are to show us that God is able to change anything and any man. He can so change and bless you to a point where people who used to be very close to you will wonder and think twice if you're really the one or whether they were actually dreaming.

It was this same change that happened to Saul and the people had to ask, "is saul also among the prophets?"

The story of the blind man in John 9:2-9 is another interesting story that shows that, God's transforming power can change anything to the point where others will wonder. The neighbours of this blind man even became confused on exactly what and who this man is. Hear what they began to say after the man's encounter with Jesus. "This is he", "I doubt it, he just look like him because this is not the man I used to know". Is Saul also among the Prophets? What a wonder working God!

Prophecy: "The Spirit of the Lord is moving over situations, darkness is giving way for light again. The light of the Lord is shining on men and forces of darkness are now losing their grips upon the people of the Lord says the Holy Ghost. Thank you Lord! That which seems impossible is being made possible. It's time to rejoice!"

Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The matter of dressing is a sensitive matter in the body of Christ, this is because it shows everyone who you claim to be. This is why, those who dress well and are moralist are seen as believers.

When you dress properly, you are naturally perceived to be a true Christian. If the world perceive those who dress properly as Christian even though they are not Christians, how then would you say, "It is of the heart".

This message is not coming to you today to condemn you but to correct you and cause you to realign your thought pattern to accommodate the word of God.

Another reason why this message is coming today to you is to warn you of the impending danger of destruction. Yes, I know you're born again but you can't escape hell if your character and dressing sends unbelievers to hell. Have you ever asked yourself why it is easier to serve God in the olden days than in this days?

One of the reasons why it is extremely difficult is NOT because of technological advancement but because of multiplied demonic activities that the devil has sent to destroy your life and destiny through subtility. Little wonder the word declares " Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?" (Isaiah 42:19).

Did you see what God said over there? He is saying, the person that is deaf and blind is not any other person but my servant. One of the reasons why children of God or servants or ministers of God die like chickens is not because God wants them to die but because countless many of them couldn't see or discern the impending dangers ahead.

If you can't see what the enemy is trying to do, you will be a victim and you will definitely pay for it, we have sets of believers this days who follows people of the word in dressing and actions without even asking God about those things.

God said, don't lean on your own understanding and in all your ways, acknowledge me and I will direct your path". But how many today care to ask?

Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

We saw yesterday that, everyone is busy looking for God but there are certain people that God Himself is busy looking for. Countless number of people today are seeking God but there are those who positioned themselves properly to be seen by God.

David was such a man who was addicted to seeking God but He was also found easily and on time by God because of a distinguishing factor called "praise/worship).

Praise and worship is not just "a thing we do", it is not all about the action but the attitude.
Multitude are truly praising God today singing and dancing but yet, they don't have the heart of worship so they have never truly commanded divine attention.

★The major demand for acceptable worship:
*Holiness:* you need purity in order to be able to receive the visitation of the Lord. God is looking for men but He will only consider first those who have a clean heart.

David was a man after God's heart but he fell and repented. People of this days now do continually what David did once and for all.
God will not bend His standard because of any man. David remained a man after God's own heart because he loved righteousness and when he fell, he repented and never did such an act again.
If you truly want God to locate you easily, then you must ensure you live an holy life.

*Insights For Today: Remember, praise and worship is not about the act but the heart, its not about the action but the attitude or motive in which that action flows from.*

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: FOR THE FATHER SEEKETH SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM.

Men are truly seeking for God, the kinds of things people do also shows that men needs God. There are certain things you will watch men do even in church all in the name of seeking God but the Bible makes it clear that God is looking for certain people.

David was a man after God's own heart and I wonder so much how David was able to engage such a mighty mystery that made him close to God's heart.

He sought the Lord but scripture made it clear that "I have found David my servant and with my Holy oil have I anointed him". This means that, God was already looking for men before He saw David.
In Psalms 14:2 the bible says "God looked down upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and did seek Him".

God is searching but who are those He is looking for?
Remember, men are looking for God but there are certain people God is busy looking for. He seeketh.. God seeketh..!

David was a man ever panting after God but this David showed us a mystery of how that he praised God 7times a day, that's a strange thing; a man had a constant schedule. He had an agenda every single day to praise God seven times. I have never seen such before, no wonder the Lord found Him.

*Insights For Today: Do you want to be the one God will find because He is already looking for men? Spend time every single day to worship and praise God. Have a constant schedule for praising God because that is the kind of people God is looking for. The best way to get anything from God is to spend time thanking Him for those things which you're expecting from Him.*

♦ *TOPIC: Trusting The Unfailing Word of God (What is trust and how do we put our trust in Him?) Part 3*

Habakkuk 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Having gone through the first and second part, it is evident that " there is nothing God can not do as long as the word has gone out from Him and we dared to put our trust in Him.

If trusting God can cause Him to do anything as long as He had spoken it, then we shall be looking at what is trust? And how can I put my trust in God in order to get results?

Trust: it is simply relying on God. Believing in Him even in the midst of storms. It could also be referred to as unreserved reliance in all weather.

How do I put my trust in Him or what should I do to put my trust in Him?

★ Prayer: A lifestyle of prayer shows that your only source and total dependency is God. Luke18:1; Philippians 4:6

★ A lifestyle of giving: When giving becomes a lifestyle no matter the times and seasons, you have just confirmed to God that He is your sufficiency and when you confirm to God that you trust Him through your giving, He opens up the heaven and blessings are being downloaded into your life (2Cor 9:6-8).

★ A lifestyle of worship/praise/Thanksgiving: when murmuring and grumbling and complaining is your habit, you have only succeeded in telling God that you do not trust in Him. Irrespective of the times and seasons whether good or bad, endeavour to thank Him, ensure to celebrate Him and in the midst of that, He will lift you up and confirm to you that it pays indeed to trust in Him. (Hab 3:17-19)

*Insights for today: When you confirm to Him that you trust Him through your actions, you can't but see the Almighty at work in your life.*

*_Prayer: Father, no matter the times and seasons, help me to keep a strong focus on you by putting my trust in you in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Isaiah 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The Bible made us to understand that one of the major reason the enemy was able to deceive Eve was due to how simple the word God gave "the day that you shall eat of this tree, you shall die".

Sometimes the truth of the word of God and its demand may look too simple and attractive to the point where it will seem as though it is a scam.

The word of God cannot be changed or fall to the ground no matter how many powers and agents of darkness are against it as long as you have faith and hold on to the word

Your concern therefore shouldn't be for the fulfillment of the word but your faith in the word. We are fond of being concern about God doing what He has spoken rather than being concern about how we should build our faith to the point of zero doubt and zero worry which will in turn cause the speedy fulfillment of the word of God in our lives. You can't fail this year!

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Don't feel concern for God about how He will do what He has spoken, be more concern about the building up of your faith to receive what God has said.

*Prayer: Dear Lord, guide me and help me to do all that is required consistently for the building up of my faith in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*

Isaiah 45:23 "I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return.."

God's word always looks too simple to be true and this is why most people don't hold on to it, they always think of how it will be done instead of just trusting in Him.. Most people that uses common sense to analyse the Word of God always end up in the back side of life. It was my mentor Dr. Bill Winston who said "God's word was never designed to make sense but to make Faith".

WHAT ARE WE TO DO?
1. Learn to always prepare well long before time.
2. When you look up to God first in every situations, He always shows you the way out.
3. Never be too overwhelmed with what is happening.
4. When the devil whispers "No" into your ears, shout Yes" aloud and stand on it firmly because it is to you according to your faith.
5. Learn to ask God what to do when you are faced with any challenge.
6. Trust God even if you can't feel that He's there.
7. Trust in His Unfailing, unbending and unchanging word no matter how simple it may look or sound.
8. No matter the challenge, learn to just forget the 'how?' And trust God to do the wow! Don't think about how it will be done, just depend on Him to do it anyway He wants it.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Don't ask how, just trust God to do the wow. God's word was never designed to make sense but to make faith*

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.
2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

God loves to take things which men completely despise and use them to do the extraordinary.
Look at the instruction He gave to Joshua. Match round the city of Jericho. Jericho was a major obstacle to entering the promised land but look at God's strategy and wisdom to taking the city of Jericho. It was extremely foolish to the common sense. It has never been said once that a leaf drop from a flower when a man shouts but how come a shout brought down a tall and gigantic wall?

It was all due to God's wisdom and we saw God's wisdom delivered Jericho into the hands of the children of Israel.

In 2Chron 20:1-3, 20-24 Three nations came up against just one nation (Judah) and we saw the instrument which the people of God used to gain victory. They didn't just got the victory over those nations, they were able to get possessions that was too much for them to carry. Have you ever heard about a man going to war with musical instruments? This was something extremely strange too.

They didn't go to battles with swords and spears and started singing at the war front. What they did was extremely strange. They took musical instruments and proceeded to the battle field without thinking, "what if we die?" Because they had no single physical weapon in which they could use to fight if in case the enemies attacked them.

These men demonstrated a level of faith in God many in this generation can never dear. The kind of faith they displayed was "if God won't fight for us then we are ready to die".

*Insights For Today: Follow God's sense and not common sense. God's sense will always work but common sense doesn't always work.*

*_Prayer: Father, forgive me for despising your word in the past. Whatever you want me to do from henceforth is what I will do without fail in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

God is a Spirit and that was the major reason the scripture made us to understand that, there is no way we can worship or please Him if we are outside the Spirit and operating in the flesh.

It is evident that many destinies in our generation have been shattered because of unyieldness to do the bidding of the Holy Ghost. Some have rejected God's choice because it doesn't just seem to make any sense to their common sense.

The truth in Christ is that, God can ask you to stop doing something that is naturally not a sin and at this point things which seems normal to others may seem completely abnormal and a sin unto you. But your destiny may not open up or may even be destroyed or aborted if you refuse to obey that instruction.

I have seen the Lord led me in certain ways which were completely against my wish and comfort. But when you do not despise His wisdom no matter how foolish it looks, you will end up being distinguished by Him.

Do you think it was something easy to take a whole son that you waited a long time before you give birth to? If Abraham had informed Sarah after God spoke to him, Sarah would have thought Abraham was mad to even think of such.
But it is such choices or instructions that will make you look as though you're a mad man/woman that God uses to lift you up.

*Insights For Today: Before glorification comes a divine instruction. God's sense may not make sense to your common sense but never despise God's sense because it is far more than common sense.*

*_Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, baptise me with the Spirit of prompt obedience and help me to trust you for just anything no matter how big in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

GOD'S SENSE does not always makes sense to the common sense and to wait for common sense before you do certain things in life or for God is to be wasted by foolishness.

God's sense is far superior to man's sense any day, any time and till eternity. He has unparalleled and incomprehensible wisdom, no matter how hard you try, you can't search Him out.

Many a times, that which God may asked you to do may not always make sense.
Look at what God told Abraham to do, Abraham leaving his father's house to an unknown and unreal land is foolishness and when God asked him to kill the only son he loved, it was the utmost foolishness to the common sense but obedience to that instruction which looks too foolish to man's sense came his extreme and unfathomable glorification.

God wanted to lift Abraham to a realm where no man has ever reached, it was a place ordained for Abraham long before the foundation of the world, it was his destiny but, yet God had to test Him by asking Him to do that which seems completely senseless.

Multitude have destroyed their harvest, terminated the process of their glorification and fulfillment of their glorious destiny because they despised an instruction given by God Himself.

*Insights For Today: God's plan and purpose can be truncated by you. He planned it but you can destroy it. Be careful!*

*_Prayer: Father, help me not to despise your wisdom even if it doesn't agree with my common sense in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Genesis 25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Esau made a choice that got his destiny transferred unknowingly. Be careful of the little things you do that you do not regard, these things are capable of either making your great or terminating your appointment with greatness
The discipline of destiny.

When you go through the bible passage for today properly, you will notice that Esau was a man who takes everything in life casually to the point where he didn't even regard his own birthright. He was also a man who was bankrupt of spiritual knowledge. He had no single knowledge about what the birthright is all about. Look at what he said "and what profit shall this birthright do to me?".

Did you noticed that Jacob didn't just know so much about the birthright, he was too sure of the implications of that and thus he asked Esau to swear to him.

I thought at this point Esau should have paused and think when he heard Jacob said "swear to me". Swear to me in our days is as strong and potent enough as you getting a lawyer to write a written document in order to affirm your claims but even at this point he never saw anything that challenged or made him think twice.

Certain things may not be wrong but when you think about your destiny, you should naturally not be involved in certain things.

A man who was meant to inherit the Abrahamic order of blessings lost it as a result of his approach to the things of life.

*Insights For Today: You need to make a choice in order to stand for God for life has no regard for those who have a casual perception about it. It takes a decisive approach to fulfill destiny.*

*_Prayer: Father, please guide me continually and help me do your will all the remaining days of my life*

Hebrews 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for ONE MORSEL OF MEAT SOLD HIS BIRTHRIGHT.

Esau didn't sold his birthright for two morsel of meat. It was just "ONE". People many a times think decisions that changes lives are many.
A single decision has ever been what the Lord uses to give certain people unimaginable promotion and lifting. It has never been two per say. It has always been one and so many who have also lost or gotten their destinies truncated or destroyed have also lost it due to one singular action.

Esau may have been a good man for a long time but he made a singular decision that got his birthright transferred completely and forever.
Be careful of temporary pleasure, one of such destiny destroying act is premarital sex or extramarital affairs. This has a greater percentage because of the blood covenant involved. You're transferring your destiny and sealing it right with a signet ring of authority using your body and blood. What it means is, you sell your destiny and you're telling the person, "I am not only going to sell this, I am also going to give you a valid receipt" and the one there at that time is a familiar demon who will take account of everything that has been done.

This is the major reason why even when God forgives you, there are still some things you may still have to suffer except you cry out for mercy and the Lord delivers you from that familiar demon that was there when you used your own blood to sign your own transfer of glory. And the second thing with God's mercy and forgiveness of such an act is that it cannot reverse certain destinies.

There are certain kinds of destinies and favours that can NEVER be gotten when lost. For instance, if Mary had defiled herself, she would never have been privileged to carry such a favour of being our Lord's mother. Look at men and women who are making strange exploits today, they have no impure and crooked past. There are still some doing great things for God who had so much ugly past but it has NEVER been in comparison with those who chose to consecrate their lives to live an holy life.

"A body has thou prepared for me". It was my father in the Lord, Pastor Paul Enenche that said, "God does not do serious business with unserious Christians".

When you truly know the value of your destiny, you will indeed be willing to go any length in order to avoid anything that may want to destroy it. Those who give themselves to unholy acts are those who don't have regard for destiny.

*Insights For Today: You don't need too many unholy acts to sell off your destiny, one is enough. Discipline your desires or else, your desires will bury your destiny.*

*_Prayer: Father, I need your help, deliver me o Lord from every habits battling with my destiny in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

♦ *TOPIC: FORGET THE PAST*

mk9:23 If you can only believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

This is a new month and God be praised for His faithfulness and goodness which He has made available unto us all.

Today, we shall be looking at certain wisdom insights into what will make this month most profiting to us. The past has truncated many people's future, it had also sent some to their early grave by burying their talents and destinies.

Please go through these nuggets and repent where necessary, make resolutions to forget the past by spending more time with God.

★ If you can truly repent and only believe All things are possible.
★ Your Possibility mentality can also determine your level of Spirituality

★ Until you see something good in yourself, no one will see Something good in you.

★ Look within, Forget the past and move on.
★ What you've lost cannot be compared to what's in the future, so let go of that guilt, self condemnation 1cor2:9 by genuinely spending more time with God.
★ Always be determined not to live by your past.
★ Until you let go of that shameful past, you can't lay hold on that gainful future.
★ The past is always behind and the future is always ahead. Don't look back, move on for your better days are ahead.

★ The past may be bitter but the future is brighter if only you will genuinely seek God.

★ No matter what you have lost, God can restore you but not without a cost. There is a needed price to gaining back the past lose.

*_Thank God and celebrate Him for this new month. Thank Him for past victories and accomplishments. Hallelujah!... Keep walking by faith_*
