Mark 6:47-49
Mark  6:47 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and HE alone on the land.
6:48 And He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
 6:49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
James  4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

From our text for today, we  saw that, Jesus saw His disciples in trouble right in the middle of the sea but yet rose up and was almost passing them when they suddenly cried out. Why would you see your very own, the people you testified about saying "all things I have heard of my father, I have made known to you because you are my friends". John 15. Jesus saw them in trouble and came but wasn't going to turn to them or say a single word to them not until when they saw Him passing and they cried out.


So many people have been assuming that God kbkws their case and thus they don't need to ask Him for anything. But the scripture says, "the reason why you do not have is because you do not ask".

So many even think by asking, they are bothering God but how can you bother the one who said "you should cast ALL your cares upon Him because He cares for you?".

Just in verse 51 we saw how that peace was restored when Jesus entered into the ship but this was the same Jesus who just wanted to pass by them.

*Insights For Today: He will not bother to come if you do not care to invite Him. Until the Prince of peace steps in, you may not have true peace.*

Psalms 119:10   With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from your commandments.

One of the major benefits of seeking God is being guided by God Himself. If you would dare to constantly seek Him genuinely, He would never allow you to walk in darkness and no matter how thick the darkness around you is, He will always shine His light around and on you.

You can't be stranded following after God. Your life and destiny can't be truncated or end abruptly following hard after God. Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, they will always mount up with wings as eagles and part of the  benefits of mounting up with wings is that you will be divinely guided by the Lord.

Those who miss it following hard after God does not exist. It is when you cut-corners or mingle with iniquity and unrighteousness as you follow after him that you end up missing it. Those who miss it are those who do not wholly follow.

*Insights For Today: You can't wander from His commandments when you seek Him with your whole heart and when you do not wander from His word, you can never wander in life. To be a genuine God seeker is to end as a wonder in your world.*

Psalms  119:165  Great peace have they which love YOUR WORD: and nothing shall offend them.
  Isaiah  54:13  And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

God will never allow you to wander away into error and unrest if you will continue to seek Him with all your heart.

Great peace have them that reverence or love the Lord because nothing shall by any means move them (Psalms  119:165) and also until you're taught of the Lord, you will never enjoy massive peace.

You can never be an ardent God seeker and not enjoy peace that flows like a river because seeking Him in truth literally makes you become like Him and it is not possible to spend time with Him and yet not have access to such a level of massive peace.

One of the definition of seeking God is to simply spend more time with God and those who tend to spend more time with Him end up looking like Him.

   Isaiah  32:17  And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.  
Isaiah  48:18  O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

If you fail to yield and hearken to the word of the Lord, you can never have access to such a realm of peace. There are things you will never enjoy except you're ready to do some things and one of the things that gives access to peace is seeking God.

There are men and women today who are permanent victims of sorrows, satanic orchestrations and manipulations, you will see them doing some negative things that they do not want to do and some of them have even concluded that, those things are part of them and thus can't be free.

We have not all attained the level of perfection, we are only striving day by day to be perfect by yielding and doing His biding or obeying Him but if you're still the type that thinks "it is not possible to be Holy" then it is a clear proof that you have not yet become a God addict or God chaser. God chasers end up taking up His nature and this is what will enable you live in peace.

*Insights For Today: God does not know unrest, He is ever at rest and at peace irrespective of the unrest man may seem to go through.. Therefore, to be a God seeker is to enjoy peace that flows like a river.*

*_Prayer Point: Dear Lord, I ask that you would help me to become more addicted to God. Give me grace Lord to passionately be consumed by your love and presence in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

"Jesus turned around in the crowd and asked: Who touched my clothes?" Mar 5:30

Everyone touched but there was someone else who touched and could not remain unnoticed.

Everyone is serving God is different from someone serving with a true heart from the depth of conviction. Everybody is seeking Him is different from someone who has decided to stake His life to the ultimate pursuit of God in Spirit and in truth.

It is an error to think that every service unto God is an acceptable service because the scriptures says that we need grace to serve God acceptably. If it is possible to serve God acceptably, it means it is equally possible for one's service to be unacceptable.

From our text for today, it was evident that, there's a touch that is different and only this touch can make the difference.
It doesn't matter how many people have touched, what matters is that you also strive to touch.

*Insights For Today: Don't be discouraged by the multitude around, you can be distinguished in the midst of the multitude. Just touch Him by faith and you will experience a drastic change.*

Philippians  3:10 "That I may know him...."
Isaiah  44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.."

Hunger is a major currency for accessing more of Him, if you are not hungry, you can't access deep secrets of God.

The word of the Lord declares in Psalms 9:25 that God's secrets are with those who fear Him but it is impossible to truly gained access without genuine hunger and thirst for more of God.

God was speaking unto Moses saying, "I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. Exodus  6:3"

God Himself told Moses that despite the fact that Abraham was His friend, Abraham didn't have the access Moses now had in Him. But what was the secret of Moses? The secret is that Moses was a very hungry man. Despite all he had and known, he kept on asking for more.. That's a very desperate thing to do.

Never be satisfied with that little you have. Thank Him for it but don't stop there, still ask Him for more. It is very sad to know that, multitude do not have the little portion upon Moses and yet they are so satisfied.

*Insights For Today: Wake up! Wake up! Ask for more and more every single day of your life. Paul after knowing so much was still crying and groaning for more*

Psalms  126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Whatever cost you nothing will bring you nothing, if it does not cost you then don't call it a sacrifice.
Sacrifice is always something costly and anything that is extremely costly will deeply touch you.

Abraham released the sacrifice of his only son, not minding the reaction of Sarah his own very wife and his own generations to come because when you kill your only son, you are ending your generations to come.

He didn't mind himself, his wife and his upcoming generations, all he minded was the word "go lay down your only son whom thou lovest" and he departed to execute the word without minding the consequences of His own actions.

If you mind yourself or even others, you will never sacrifice unto the Lord. Whatever will cost you nothing is not worth sacrificing unto the Lord.
If it will cost you nothing, don't call it a sacrifice but an offering.
It cost Abraham his posterity because if Isaac had died, his future had died. It will cost him hatred before his wife, it will cost him great shame among men. This is a type of sacrifice that matters most to God.

Our text this morning says, he that sows in tears shall doubtless or certainly return with rejoicing with massive harvest.

*Insights For Today: Listen to the voice of the Spirit and not the voice of the flesh. Whatever you release that touches you will definitely touch God and if it touches God, God must touch you and when God touches you, your life can never remain the same.*

1 Corinthians  10:23  All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

1 Corinthians  9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

It is one thing to have a destiny and it is another thing to fulfill such destiny. Paul said, all things are good but not all things are helpful unto me, this means that, some things may be good but they may be satanic trap that will truncate your destiny and this is why the issue of sacrifice cannot be overemphasized.

If you cannot put your body under, your body will put you under and if you cannot die to self, self will trncate your destiny.

Sacrifice involves so many things. And for the fulfillment of your destiny, there are certain sacrifices that you must make. Saul couldn't make that sacrifice, so his destiny was transferred to someone else, Eli couldn't and this got his destiny transferred and if Mary had defiled herself, she wouldn't have been fit to carry Jesus in her womb.

We have so many in this generation who are so full of self and the flesh, they have s glimpse on what they want to become but are completely unwilling to do that which it takes in order to fulfill it. There are many who will not see the word God spoke to them fulfilled not because the word was not declared by God but because they never took any tangible responsibility to see the word fulfilled.

Abraham sacrificed his only son to enter into the realm of transgenerational affluence and record breaker despite his negative background, Mary sacrificed the pleasure of worldly lust and consecrated herself in order to carry Jesus in her womb, Daniel sacrificed complete pleasure in order to please God and this made him relevant even until this generation.

Do you think all these few men I've mentioned gave a little sacrifice? No, all these are completely unusual and seemingly insane sacrifices. They are things people of this generation are unwilling to do. The pleasure of life won't allow people of this days to have access to God's best. The affection for the world has gradually eroded the love for God.

Nothing in this world can ever satisfy any true believer who wants to fulfill destiny and the end product of every sacrifice is outstanding fulfillment of destiny and distinction.
Lay down list, worldly lifestyles (songs, dressings, opinions, characters, etc) and take up responsibility for where you are going. It is worth it!

*Insights For Today: You can't scale great heights if you're not willing to sacrifice, if you cannot put your body under, your body will put you under and you can't be distinguished if you're willing and ready to sacrifice*

1 Corinthians  2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

It was Lester Sumrall who said "believers don't perceive beyond their first revelation of God". We are too soon satisfied with the crumbs that falls from the table when the substance is available even in abundance.

It is good you're born again and it is equally good that you know God to some extent.I could remember the few months after my salvation were filled with wonderful experiences and this is always how it is for everyone after salvation but such joy, experience and encounters were not just to be but for only a moment but forever.

If you're not a God seeker, it is impossible to consistently experience God. So many no longer have encounters and visitations because of complacency, they are so full that there jar (spirit) has no capacity to receive more.

 I am not disputing the truth that you will not feel dry in certain wilderness moments because Jesus didn't have angels minister unto Him until He pass certain tests. There are times that God will seem to withdraw Himself in order to test you but nevertheless, you ought to have few encounters even in those moments if not you're bound to fall off into dreadful state called "complacency".

Your hunger for God will go a long way in determining your access to the deep things of God. Those who are hungry and thirsty are entitled to daily infilling of the Spirit and this is what keeps you in form.

Paul had unusual order of grace because his hunger to know God was unusual, his hunger gave him the access. Brethren,  God is no respecter of persons.

*Insights For Today: Your access in God is determined by your hunger for God. You can't experience more if you're not hungry for more. The more hungrier you get for God, the more of God you can have.*

Matthew  21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

God said, if you would say to any mountain to move out and go to wherever you want it, you will have whatsoever you say but He never asked you to speak in favour of any mountain. He said "speak against" but multitude are speaking in favour of mountains instead of speaking against.

For instance, Mr. A and Mr B offended each other and took themselves to court and were both asked to bring witnesses. And the witness Mr A. brought now stood up and instead of defending his client he spoke against him. I guess you know what will happen when such a thing happens?


The judge does not need to think twice before he declares Mr B. as the one who won the case. And he won the case so cheaply because the witness Mr A. brought spoke against him and thus judgement was passed against him.

Haven't you read or heard, "with your mouth, you will either be justified or condemned" ? Matthew  12:37  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

God is the Judge and He has made you your own witness but it is so unfortunate that you have decided to get busy speaking against yourself instead of for yourself.

Never speak in favour of any mountain (negative circumstances around your life). Stop talking about them, talk against them.

It is worthy of note to know that "every scriptural possibilities has scriptural responsibilities, every scriptural provision has scriptural demands and until you meet the demands, you can't enjoy the benefits". You must also know that, "it is not enough to have open doors, you must equally be able to enter such doors before you can obtsin that which is available in it". One of such demand is speaking the right words.

God said, He had place before you an open door but many have shut their own doors through negative utterances because God declared that, as truly as He lives, what you declare is what you will acquire.

Your utterances determines your experiences and your words are what determines your favours. You can't experience victory if what you constantly affirm and proclaim is defeat and shame. Shame and reproach will stuck itself to you as long as you don't know how to declare wholesome words.

If what you're seeing is not what you expected to see, decree or say that which you want to see and that which you want to see is what you will end up seeing if you don't drop saying it. Your declaration affects your acquisition.

*Insights For Today: Your confessions determines your possessions, affirmation affects accumulation and never confess that which you do not want to experience.*

*_Declaration: I declare this day that, I am full of grace and glory, the hand of the Lord that is upon me will engender mighty proofs, the life of God is at work in me and thus every curses, sickness, diseases or poverty is cursed out of my life, my mentality is sharp as the living word of God and I declare supernatural abundance and provision of all things I need in Jesus name. Luke  18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

_Yesterday, we saw that regarding the word is one major way to seeing the fulfillment of the word.. Seeing God Himself is the word and does nothing without His word_

Today, it is also  very essential we look briefly at another key ingredient necessary for the fulfillment of the word. This ingredients is like a pair that makes the word you regard work for you.

Just as you cannot wear just a single shoe when going out or for any occasion no matter the name, the same way you can not regard the word if you don't regard prayer. Prayer and the word are pairs that makes it all easy.

Imagine you're going out wearing only one leg of sandals or shoe, the leg that the one shoe is on will feel ease and relaxed but at the same time the second leg that had nothing will feel so much unrest, painful and you may end up stepping on a hard stone or even nail. Putting on just a single leg will definitely bring shame to you because those who see you out there will think probably you're in the second or third stage of madness. This is shameful!


Prayerlessness is the confirmation of strengthlessness because you can't be strong in faith if you are not prayerful. Haven't you noticed how fearful you always get when you live a day without prayer and how forceful and faith-filled you always act when you pray every day?
There is no substitute for prayer and nothing can ever be done or achieved if prayer was never involved.

*Insights For Today: One of the major ways to show that you believe a word is that you pray or declare the word. You will always declare that which you truly believe.*

1 Samuel  2:30 ".....FOR THEM THAT HONOUR ME I WILL HONOUR, AND THEY THAT DESPISE ME SHALL BE LIGHTLY ESTEEMED".

If you do not regard the word, never expect the word to be fulfilled in your life. Whatever you do not welcome is not permitted to stay
Have you ever had a visitor you do not want to see, how do you respond when such knocks at your door?
The response you give when you open the door will determine whether such visitor will stay or not.

One major way to seeing prophecies fulfilled is esteeming the word of the Lord. Prophetic words carries equal power with the written word but we see that many neglect the written word and mind prophecies forgetting that prophetic words without the written word won't come to pass.

The reason why the word is so powerful is simply because, the word Himself is God and if you don't esteem the word, you do not esteem God. The word of God is not a thing but a person. Neglecting the word equals neglecting God.

*Insights For Today: If the word is so close to you, you can't escape the manifestation of the word. If you esteem Him, He will esteem you.*

Proverbs  13:2  A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.

Some people have wondered greatly how that a negative dream they had came to pass, you will hear people after having negative dreams and you try to tell them not to worry and speak against it, you'll hear them say "my dreams always come to pass" but these same people never bothered to think or speak when they have good dreams, they just ignore the good ones and focus on the negative ones.

They will spend the whole day talking about the negative pictures they saw in the night but they refuse  to talk about the positive pictures they saw. Some people can be so lousy in declaring what is not and so gentle and silent in declaring that which is really good.

How then can you frustrate the plans of the enemy?
★ Focus: Your focus is the first way out, never focus on the negative side. Give the devil no attention.
★Your Believe and Declaration: What you believe and declare determines what you will experience. After working on your focus, it is therefore necessary for you to declare the word of God which is the word of faith. Don't let anything negative no matter how it comes or how bad it looks determine what you confess. What you declare will determine what will either be used to justify or condemn you.

*Insights For Today: The good you will be able to enjoy in life is rooted in the quality of the words that flows out of your mouth. Don't declare what you do not want to experience. If you don't  want to see it, don't say it.*

*_Prayer point: Father, help me to build my faith to the point where my focus will be only you and your words for my life. I hereby declare that my life will take a positive new turn from henceforth in Jesus name. Amen. Keep walking by faith_*

Matthew  13:25  BUT WHILE MEN SLEPT, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mark  11:23 ".....he shall have whatsoever he saith".

Previously, we have been made to understand a spiritual reality of how that what we see affects what we think and what we think affects what we say and what we say determines what we acquire or experience as believers and thus we are to mind what we declare with our mouth.

We have also considered the truth that, the enemy loves to show people pictures in dream in order to affect what they imagine and declare."your declaration determines your possessions ".

And yesterday, we started looking at how spiritual lethargy affects what we see and declare and today we shall be looking at the meaning of spiritual lethargy and how to overcome that plague.
Spiritual lethargy speaks of a believer coming to a point where spiritual things do not seem to make sense much to him/her. It is at this point that many begin to doubt what the word of God says, this is the state where many feel literally weakened by controlling powers. In this state, a demon cast a web on believers and shrouds them with so much negative thoughts and words and as long as you keep those thoughts in your mind, you can't pray well, and if you can't pray, how then can you have strength and if you don't have spiritual strength, how can you handle demons?

Spiritual lethargy also occurs when the enemy overhauls your life with so much activities that you no longer have time for prayer and the study of the word. It is to you according to your declarations but how can you experience spiritual vitality and buoyancy to declare what you want to see if you don't even have time for the word of God. The Spiritual vibrancy and buoyancy of many in the body of Christ is quickly being eroded by certain demonic teaching of grace through some men who have departed from the faith and whose end is damnation.

Life was never designed for struggles until Adam fell and put us all in trouble and even after salvation, the enemy has worked tirelessly that men should not enjoy the freedom they have in Christ.

Inside everyone born of God is a seed of greatness power and authority but the enemy had worked so much that no one will ever enjoy these benefits of being called by the name of the Lord.
Since scripture enjoins us not to be ignorant of the devices of the enemy, it is therefore very important we know one of the major ways in which the enemy has gotten so much success in his endeavor to keep man perpetually under.

 What then is the enemies major strategy which has gotten him so much victory over time?
1. Spiritual lethargy or spiritual slumbering
2. Confessions of negative dreams

"While men slept..."   What the enemy does is to increase your negative thoughts by giving you bad dreams because he knows what you see tends to stay much longer in your mind realm than what people say. Man was made as a moral agent, he has all it takes according to the power God vested on and placed in Him at creation and by redemption to stop what God or the enemy says for coming to pass. This power is what enables everything you speak come to pass irrespective of the time it took for it to happen.

It came to a time after Noah that those on earth thought in their hearts to establish a tower that is high up into the heavens and they declared their intentions, we understand that, after their declaration, they sprung into action and God Himself had to confess that if He didn't stop them, they will achieve that which they had set their hearts to do.

Blessed is he that believeth because he will surely without fail experience that which he believed but we also understand from scriptures that the words you speak is as a result of the words you believe.

From scriptures, we have come to realize that the angels of the Lord are God's mighty instrument and messengers of deliverance.
Peter was delivered from bondage and the the shackles of death by the ministry of angels.

But the angels of the Lord goes to work when they hear your words. What activates the ministry of angels are the words you speak.

Don't talk defeat if what you want to experience is not defeat but victory, don't talk shame if you don't want to be buried in shame and obscurity. Men who talk big do not only end well but also end  very big. Your words are creative, speak it even while going through the toughest battles or seasons.

Life may never give unto you only what you desire, someone may say, "but the bible says, He is able to do exceeding abundantly above what we ask or think..." Yes, He will gave you what you think but that thinking also must be expressed in words.

Any desire that is not expressed in words may never see the light of the day. This is why even in meditations, there is an aspect of meditation where you think out loud, this is the greatest order of meditation. You think to the point where you speak it out knowingly or unknowing.

O how I love the Lord, He sends His angels to work on our behalf but these angels only work on what they hear. Speak but speak right!

Psalms  106:12  Then believed they His words; they sang his praise.

The bible says, God has exalted His words above all His names and also we understand from John chapter 1 that, the word Himself is God and this is the major reason why we must celebrate His words. His word has never failed and they can never fail no matter what you think.

 David said, "in God will I praise His words.." We must learn to celebrate every words that God has spoken to us. We mustn't take God for granted in any way by neglecting or taking with levity the prophecies and decrees He has spoken into or over our lives.

One proof of faith is praise, if you believe the word  you will act like your father Abraham who even while waiting for the prophecies staggered not at His promise through unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory and praise to God. They believed they His words and because of that, they sang His praises.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any Christianity that does not affect your identity is iniquity and calamity in disguise.

Gene is a unit of heredity which is transferred from a parent to an offspring. It is responsible for similarity in manner or attitude of a parent and his/her children. Just as a son is expected to have a peculiar character trait that is in consonance with that of his father, a Christian is also expected to manifest the character and attributes of Christ.

However, the tragedy in our days is that there are many Christians with mixed-genes; mixture of heaven and earth, mixed gene of spirituality and carnality. They are like half Israelites and half Egyptians. They are spiritual mix-ups. They have the origin of heaven but the identity of the earth. It is true that they are Christians, but their identity says otherwise. This is why many people are in church for donkey years but see no result because their sinful character is still intact. Any Christianity that does not affect your identity is iniquity and calamity in disguise. Your identity determines your destiny; your nature determines your future; your attitude determines your outcome.

In Genesis 2:19, while referring to Moses, the daughters of Jethro told their father that an Egyptian helped them. The question is, was Moses an Egyptian? No! But they called him an Egyptian probably because of the way he dressed and behaved.

Beloved, a mistaken identity is a misplaced destiny. But that shall not be your portion, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Any Christianity that does not affect your identity is iniquity and calamity in disguise.

ASSIGNMENTS:

The foundation of God standard sure. God's word is unbendable. You can't touch any life until your own life has been touched. Those who are now transforming life are those who were first transformed. You can't change any life until you've first been changed. You can really be everything He wants you to be if only you really want to.

You can't be meddling with sin and yet expect to become everything He truly wants you to be seeing that God does not uses the crowd to change the crowd but He makes use of selected few.

Being among the selected few is not just because you wished or even want it but because He deems it fit by qualifying you based on some certain terms and one of the major term is CONSECRATION.

Consecration is all about separation, it is all about you knowing the destiny you are meant to fulfill and adjusting your life in other to fit into that life.

The foundation of God standeth sure, only the separated always end up as the celebrated. God is not a respecter of persons but a respective of His words. His word is for everlasting and His truth extends to all generation, come out from among the rest and be ye separate. The differences you will make in life is rooted in your choices to be different in life.

Faith is an indispensable force and currency in the kingdom and it is with it that we please God and buy or sell. Nothing in this life can ever be done or achieved without faith. The blind men came to him looking for healing and Jesus asked them, "do you believe that I am able to do this?"

The case of the woman with the issue of blood also got her healing by faith, the best of God can only be obtained by faith. Faith is not a force that just get things done but a force that causes the power of God to flow forth to get anything done.

"Anything can happen when faith is in place. Anything can happen when faith is at work. If nothing else is working, it is a sign that faith is not at work because when faith is at work, no matter what is not work, something must still work. It is impossible for everything not to work when faith is at work?"

Jesus asked, do you believe I am able to do this? It is not all about if you believe He can do it for someone else, it is whether you believe He can do it for you.

So many believe that, God can do it for someone else but they find it difficult to believe that God can do it for them. This morning, believe that He is able to do it for you. Only believe, that is the secret of answers to prayer. God answers tour prayers by checking your level of faith and trust in Him.

*Insights for today: If you believe that He is able, then truly you will see that He is indeed able because He will always manifest Himself to show you that He is able.*

Fulfilling Destiny is good but this is not the same with fulfilling destiny in an outstanding manner. Fulfilling destiny may be likened to you being able to impact your world with your gift or talents.

In fulfilling destiny, you may not necessarily be concerned with touching everyone but outstanding fulfillment of destiny has to do with you being able to become every single thing the Almighty has ordained that you become in life and yet still impact, reach and transform everyone you're meant to reach, impact and transform.

Therefore, in order to fulfilled destiny in an outstanding manner, there are some forces that must be in place and one of those forces is CONSECRATION.

In every house, there are vessels of wood, gold and all others but the scripture says, if YOU will purge yoursel, that is, if you will separate yourself and make yourself available then you can be fit to be used to do the best that the Lord wants to do (2Timo 2:20-21).

Consecration is the price you MUST pay for outstanding destiny fulfillment but it will excite you to know that God doesn't enforce consecration, it is a choice. He tells you or shows you the path of it and leaves you to decide whether you want it or not.

*Insight For Today: God is not a respecter of persons but a respecter of His word if you will dare to do the word, you will definitely get the result. Your decision for consecration will end you in distinction.*

There are times when you feel like you're alone. The same way we have moments of great strength, there are also countless moments of great weakness(es).

There are times in life where you are so uncertain about what next to come and this is not due to the fact that you're faithless. You have the faith but there seems to be uncertainty running through the corner of your mind which makes it seem as though you do not have faith.

We all have downturn moments, we all have or once had our own vulnerable moments when if the enemy should struck, he would have gotten us but he wasn't given the opportunity.

There are times when you will have to cry through the night and just hoping the day comes speedily with a miracle in his hands to give to you.

In this life, you can't escape those times. You may either have gone through it or you're coming out of it or you are currently going through it.
In those moments even the strength of the strong is taken away and all he could see and experience is weakness and strengthlessness.

Therefore, if you feel weakened, know that you're not the first and you won't be the last.

Counsel: Irrespective of what happens, maintain your grip on God and never doubt His ability to deliver you.

Have you ever received a word from the Lord and you're wondering and worrying about how and when will it happen and since your circumstances now didn't look like the word you received, you almost laughed it off and trash it.

Hear me, the fulfillment of every prophecy is gradual and when God gives you a word He makes ways for it to be fulfilled. Though, many people are confused and perplexed because the way they are going seems like a complete opposite of what He said, but remember, His ways are not your ways.

There is time for everything and every single seed you have sown will receive maximum harvest with time.

 Joseph had an accurate prophetic word from the Lord but look at the path he had to follow in order to see that prophetic word fulfilled. For Joseph, the path he followed was totally the opposite of the glorious future he saw but a day came in His life that the prophecies were fulfilled expressly.

The day that God decided to pay Mordecai, the king couldn't sleep.

*Counsel: Never be weary in well doing because, your day of recompense will definitely come if you faint not. Hallelujah!*

There is a popular adage that says " everyday is for the thief but one day is for the owner" and what it means is that, a person may continue stealing but one day, he can't escape being caught.

In the kingdom, there is a day  when everything about you will take a new turn, there is a day when you will enter your rest. God had promised Abraham and Sarah before but a day came that the word spoken had to be fulfilled.

Elizabeth and Zachariah had been serving God faithfully for so many years but yet, there was a massive yoke and reproach of barrenness working in their lives. They were faithful servants of God but yet, they had a negative identity among men but one day came when such a long age ordeal was broken, a day came when the devils couldn't stop them from having their own child.

People do think the devil is powerful simply because the Lord had decided to keep quiet over certain issues of their lives. For instance, when Joseph rejected Portiphar's wife offer and was misjudged and sent into prison, many may have thought that "since God is all powerful and since Joseph didn't commit the crime, why then didn't He deliver Joseph on time or why did God had to allow him to be sent into the prison?".

You must know that, there is a day and a time  set by God and no matter what the enemy has done, if you would remain in Him and faithful to Him, He will definitely step in to confirm that indeed He is God and not a man.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY:When it is your time, it will definitely be your turn. Rely and put your trust in God, He will definitely visit you if you keep waiting on Him and if you do not cease to put your trust in Him. There is always a day!*

2 Corinthians  13:14  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

I once had a story of how God allowed  turbulence in an aircraft while it was in the air just because He wanted to talk to one of His servants who was there. The pastor didn't have much time for God and since God wanted to talk to him at all cost, He permitted the plane to misbehave in the air and as the pastor began to pray, the Lord told him He had caused it just to get the opportunity to talk to him.  He had to lift up his voice and pray at such a time and God responded just as he began praying and after God had finished speaking with him, peace returned and the journey continued smoothly.

Many times, certain things that happens to you may just be that the Lord needs your attention but it is so unfortunate how many people just fold up or give up on God when they seem to be going through an unpleasant situation.

"The communion of the Spirit, be with you..." this is not just a statement that shows, it is just "a once and for all affair", this statement shows that, your communion or fellowship with Him must be constant and consistent. God seeks to talk and walk with  man and He won't mind even if He has to allow the devil to buffet man in order to get man's attention.

He always seeks man's attention, don't try to figure out or ask why. All you need is to align yourself and yield to Him. He may allow you go through seemingly terrible seasons just because He wants you to pray and fast, He may allow you to be weakened just because He wants you to persist in calling on Him. He is a jealous God and would not allow anything or anyone take His place in you.

*Insights for today: He wants to commune with you but how much time do you have for Him. There is no place you are that you cannot commune with God.  That fellowship with the Holy Spirit ought to continue irrespective of where you are and what you're doing.*

*_Prayer Point: Dear Lord, help me to pay adequate attention to your Holy Spirit. Forgive me Lord for the times I had ignored you and your Spirit. Today, I connect with the trace to be super-sensitive to your Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen. Keep walking by faith_*

♦ *TOPIC: HE NEVER FORSAKES HIS OWN EVEN THOUGH HE BEARS LONG WITH THEM*

Isaiah  49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
49:14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

The book of Luke chapter 18 from verse 2 to verse 8 gave us an account of a woman who kept on crying to a wicked king for vengeance. This woman had been wrongly dealt with and she sought vengeance by asking the king day and night. This she kept on doing until one day, a king who seems not to care nor show remorse for people suddenly took note of her and decided to avenge her speedily.

This king even though he had no fear of God nor had any regard for mortal men made up his mind to help the woman because of her continual day and night cry unto the him.

It is very easy to conclude that God has forgotten or forsaken you when you're going through a storm, some have concluded saying "if God is really God, why then do I still have to go through this negative ordeal even though I've repented and surrendered my life to Christ?". Some others have concluded saying "Isa 49 vs 14....The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me."

The scriptures declares that if an unjust king who does not fear God nor regard the persons of men could still rose up to defend that woman, is it God who says "He has loved you with an everlasting love" that will cast you away? Definitely not!
18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

He said, "see, I have engraved  you on the palms of my hands and your walls are ever before me". Even a woman who gave birth to a child can neglect or forsaken her child but God said, He would never do that.

*Insights for today: He bearing long with you doesn't show that He doesn't care about you. He knows what's best for you and in His own time, He makes all things beautiful no matter how long He seems to take. Be still!*

*_Prayer Point: Father, help me to keep trusting you irrespective of the delays and frustrations I experience while waiting for the manifestations of that which I desire and asked in prayers in Jesus name. Amen... Jerk walking by faith_*

Ezra 2:10 And when the builders laid the  foundation of the temple of the Lord, they  set the priests in their apparel with  trumpets, and the Levites the sons of  Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord,  after the ordinance of David king of Israel.
11 And they sang together by course in  praising and giving thanks unto the Lord;  because he is good, for his mercy   endureth for ever toward Israel. And all  the people shouted with a great shout,  when they praised the Lord, because the  foundation of the house of the Lord was  laid.

It is a common phenomenon that when most people are at the low level or state in life or when they are expecting the full manifestation of a blessing or when they have seen something little that God is doing, they don't rejoice and praise God as they should. So many even grumble and murmur when they have something which they consider to be too small in their eyes.

People hardly praise God until they have the full blessings from God. That is, the level of their excitements is not that much until they have everything they wanted or prayed for.

The children of Israel after laying the foundation which serves as just the beginning of the building engaged in high praise and shouted unto the Lord, they cried out for joy.
You will agree with me that, what it will cost to complete the whole building can never be compared to what it took to lay the foundation. The cost to finish a project is always more heavier than the cost to start it.

The house had not been fully built, yet they praised God. You may not have seen the fulfillment of all your expectations for this year but if you will lay it to heart to thank God for that which you've seen, you will definitely experience the power of God in an amazing manner.

*Insights For Today: Take time to thank Him for the little and you will experience the much in no time.*
*_Prayer Point: Dear Lord, I ask that you cloth me with the garment of praise. Help me to engage in quality praise this month and as I do, let me experience a shift and a drastic turnaround in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Malachi  2:1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Luke  17:13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.
17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan  (Read to 18).

Jesus came not only as a system representing the Godhead, He also came to show us a pattern in which we must follow. He came as a system and as a pattern to guide us on the operations of that system.

We saw the account of the ten lepers in the book of Luke chapter 17:12-18, they all saw Jesus and shouted for help. After the Lord had shown them mercy, the scripture declares that, only one returned to give thanks and we saw what the Lord said after He saw that one returned to give thanks.

Luke 17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?  17:18 They are not found that returned to give glory to God, except this stranger.

Jesus sounded as though He wasn't too concerned about the return of that one leper. "Were there not ten cleansed?" That statement simply shows us that God demands thanks/praise for everything that He does for us.  This can also be confirmed reading the book of Malachi 2:1-2.

As this month begins today, you may not have seen everything you desire for 2018 manifested yet but for the ones that you've seen, celebrate God for them and you will be amazed at the kinds of results this month will produce for you.

*Insights For Today: Giving thanks to God is not just because you wish or like to, God Himself expects you to thank Him for everything, no matter how small that which He has done may seem to look.*

*_Prayer Point: Father, I thank you for all you've done for me in the past. Thank you for your mercies and helps you've granted unto me and my family, I give you praise Lord for everything you've done and that which I expect to see in Jesus name..
