Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

The choices some of us have made in time past could either be traced to the leading by self and not by the Spirit of God because the scriptures declares in Isaiah 48:21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out..... when God led them, they thirsteth not but how come the same God will be leading us today and yet we will be thirsting? Something is wrong, isn't it?

The reason is simple, we are simply bankrupt of knowledge. The flow of water out of the desert connotes the constant inspiration or revelation of the spirit through intense seasons.

Now, let's come back to Luke 4:1 Jesus was full of the Spirit and the result of that was that He was led down into a wilderness and was tempted by the devil. Are you kidding me? How can a man be full of the Spirit and yet be led by the Spirit (not a demonic spirit but Holy Spirit) into the wilderness and not to play or rest or relax but to be tempted? It is unbelievable, isn't it?

Yes, it is but Jesus didn't faint in those seasons because water gushed out for him in that wilderness constantly in other words, the word of the Lord wasn't scarce for him. That was what it means when Isaiah said, "....they thirsteth not when He led them..." Someone may be saying, am not sure about what you are saying. Well, let's look at scriptures again.

Did you remember that they cried to Moses while in the wilderness for food? Did you remember they complained and grumble for water? Did you remember they almost grieved God and Moses pleaded on their behalf? Am sure you do but what was the outcome?

During those times, God's word was not always scarce, the word always comes to Moses about what to do to give the people what they needed. That's what it means. It wasn't that, while going through the wilderness, they had no downturns or downtimes and even seasons when they had to murmur or grumble but it was because, they always had a way made for them by the voice of the Spirit in other words, the voice of the Lord was not scarce but was readily available.

*Insights For Today: If you're led by His Spirit, you are His true son and daughter but that does not negate the fact that, you may encounter challenges on the way.*

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

We all know that, whatever has an original equally has a counterfeit. We have a grace which is the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ but we also see another grace which is of the devil. This devilish grace only parades itself to be true while it is a lie, it makes and calls itself white while it is dark and black.

This is the more reason we ought not to listen to every preacher of grace or even pay attention to all preachers of the gospel because some aren't really preachers of the truth. Some are genuine preachers while others claim to be preachers of peace but are preachers and sponsors of heresies that leads to eternal damnation (2 Cor.11:14).

Any grace that makes you live in sin is not the grace of our Lord but the grace of the devil.

The devil that comes to you in black apparel with black or long horns is not really a devil that you ought to be careful about but the one who comes to you in the cloak of righteousness and truth. If you're not careful, you may not know this particular one is the devil based on his/her appearance but based on his/her character, integrity and fruits.

Never judge any man of God based on their gifts because the scripture says by their fruits, you shall know them and not by their gifts. Those who are easily moved to call those who prophesy "papa or mama" will fall cheaply to the wiles of the devil.

You can also be a genuine man of God and fall cheaply or be used by the devil due to your seemingly candid lifestyle of being too free with everybody and lack of integrity. Every man of God without integrity will end up being a vessel in the hands of the devil.

People will not regard you for the sake of your title, neither will the devils dread you for title's sake. Impact is stronger than title, a strong mantle is heavier than the strongest devils.

You will surely know the genuine by their fruits, but it takes time for fruits to really develop and believers ought to be careful because the enemy is catching away genuine servants of God and making them his vessels. I used to know a certain apostle whom God started using but later veered off the path of truth due to impatience and lack of integrity. This beloved brother started with zeal and true passion for God but along the line he was enticed by the cares and snatched away by worldly lust.

Some few months before he finally departed from the faith he once held dear unto, I was in his office and we sat to counsel those who had need for that but I knew something wasn't right from within me though I wasn't sure of what was to come upon him but I knew.

*Insights For Today: You shall know them by their fruits. Fruits develop with time too so judge every man you see by both fruits and time.*

1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as HE went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? *THIS SAME JESUS, WHICH IS TAKEN UP FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN, SHALL SO COME IN LIKE MANNER AS YE HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN.*

Heaven is real and hell is equally real but your decisions and actions are the determinants of which of them will be your lot, portion or destination at the end of your days on earth.

Also know that, whether you like it or not, whether you wish or want it or not, and whether you're prepared for it or not, Jesus will return back very soon. Although, there are many today who are saying "there is no such thing as heaven or hell", "once you're born again, you will live forever and a believer can't backslide", some others are saying, "He promised to come but up til now, He hasn't showed up and thus, He is not coming again".

These and many more are what people are saying but remember, just as the angel prophesied his birth and it happened, his return that the angels prophesied about will also happen.

*Insights: This same Jesus is coming back again.*

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

What is subtility? Subtlety is a state of being crafty or cunning or deceptive.

Did you know what made Adam and Eve to fall was not because sin was painted as sin but because sin was painted as righteousness. The devil will never come to you appearing to you as dark with horns but as an Angel in beautiful apparel.

The fall of many today has been due to one form of seduction or the other. The serpent came to the woman in the garden and see what happened.....
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die.

It is good you know the nature of the devil or else you will fall cheaply for His wiles or craftiness. he used his nature for the first man and he fell, he had not changed, he is still subtil today even as he was in old times.

Grace empowers you to live above sin and not to live in sin as many suppose.
People including believers have been made to understand by erroneous preachers that, grace covers for the sins you've not committed and thus you can go on and sin because once you are saved, you remain forever saved irrespective of your actions",

Beloved, into fall for this subtlety, it is a lie from the pit of hell and you must not be a victim of this satanic lie.

*Insight For Today: When Adam fell for the subtlety of the devil, he suffered irrecoverable losses and paid for it, if you fall for satanic craftiness, you will suffer irrecoverable losses and if you were not helped on time, your end may be in the lake of fire.*

*_Prayer point: Father, help me to know when am veering off the path of righteousness and truth so that I may amend my ways on time. Help me not to be heady and hardened, help me not to end my journey in the lake of fire in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: HATH HE SAID, AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT? OR HATH HE SPOKEN, AND SHALL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD?

How often we lay our hands on so many things and do many things which are not according to His will and since it wasn't according to His will, He can't confirm them.

We make choices, act and embark on our own journeys like Jonah not because we intentionally wanted to but simply because we are deaf to hear His leading voice or simply because of dereliction like Jonah.

The best and safest place to be is in the will of God and a man in His will will naturally command His voice and when you have His voice, you have no need to worry or fear.

Our text today confirms that, whatever God declares to you is as good as done because He is the God that declares the end from the beginning, He doesn't say anything because He wants to do them but He says them because He had already done them.

This was Abraham's condition, He heard the word of the Lord concerning the promised child and held on to the promise for about 25 years. What made Abraham hold on to the word? He simply knew that "God will because He said He will". This was what gave Abraham the rest and confidence while waiting.

Scriptures declares that Abraham was strong in faith giving glory to God. He had not seen it yet, he started praising God for the word.

Beloved, God will because He said He will. You don't need to worry but rest and relax in His love and mercy, have a sure assurance that He that can make His word good unto Abraham by confirming it will do the same for you.

*Insights For Today: Abraham waited for 25 years. Note that, 25 years is not 25 days. After 15 years of waiting for the promise, God visited Abraham again and assured him that the promise would be fulfilled in due time. It took another 10 years after the reassurance for Abraham and Sarah to give birth to a son who was named Isaac. HE WILL NOT BECAUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW HE WILL BUT BECAUSE HE SAID HE WILL. BE AT REST.*

*_Prayer point: Father, I thank you for your word to me today, I make demand for the grace to trust your will and know that you will do as you have declared onto me in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

You can't find Him except you seek Him with all your heart.
Of a truth, nothing in this world can ever satisfy or fill up the vacuum that is in man. Everyone has a craving for the supernatural. Even the heathen or the ungodly has a craving for something but it is unfortunate that people do not crave for that which is of God.

It is one thing to seek God and it is another thing entirely to be passionate about your pursuit of God. Access to more of Him is not only rooted in you seeking Him. For instance, having water on your table does not quench your thirst, it is not enough to have water on the table, you must go on and pick the water and drink it.

Without taking certain steps, you can't get the water to quench your thirst despite the fact that you can see the water on the table with your eyes.
It is not enough to see revelations or have prophecies of access but you must also crave passionately to see them come to pass, this is what it means to take steps in order to get access.

*Insights For Today: Your cravings or your spiritual hunger,
and your prayers are the steps that you take which will truly confirm that indeed you're ready to access more of Him.*

{ PREPARE TO MEET THE LORD YOUR GOD..REPENT! }

Psalms 35:4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
35:5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

The humiliation of the enemies by the believers does not come as we gather to play but as we gather to pray. It does not come as we learn to speak but as we go on our kneels.

The reason why satanic arrows fly and can successfully hit you or have an effect on you is because you are a prayerless believer. The scripture makes it very clear in Isaiah 54:14, you shall be established in righteousness and once that is done, you're naturally expected to be far from all oppressions of the devil but when we read further to verse 17 we saw that, the enemies are permitted to throw their arrows or even speak against you but none of their arrows can successfully hit you, and every voice against you were all ordained by heaven to end in frustration but not without your own voice rising to condemn every voice against you. This is the reason why prayer is necessary.

Nothing breaks the devils backbone like prayer and praise (and I mean deep worship).

Satanic agendas can be frustrated when you understand how to engage the power in the secret place. Many believers still do not know that the devils can be frustrated like men.

When you resist a man constantly for too long, he suddenly gets frustrated and gives up, the same thing applies to the devil also, you can cause him constant frustrations but not without the right tool or event.

Three things has proved powerful over time to cause major havoc to the enemies. Prayer, deep worship (praise) and sacrificial giving. These three mysterious activities holds dynamic powers that no devil has been able to fathom or comprehend since the foundation of the world.

*Insights for today: The devil does not fear the prayerless but the prayerful. You can't frustrate the enemies through mere singing but by calculated inspired singing. Playing is the enemies delight while praying is the enemies greatest enemy.*

*Prayer point: Everlasting Father, increase my prayer fire and cause me to remain ever on the increasing tide of grace in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*

- God gives you beyond what you need when you truly seek Him for who He is and not because of needs .

- Access to deep things in Christ has nothing to do with how old you have been in Christ BUT how open you're to receive from Christ.

- You will get all you desire as long as you remain connected to the God that made all your desires.
There's nothing good that you desire that is NOT GOD'S will for you.

- Never you think you got what you asked for because you merit it but because of His mercies unveiled to you.

- Be prepared to meet the Lord your God.

Psalms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Psalms 60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

The day you lose sense of men helping you is the very day you sign up for the help of Jehovah. The reason is because GOD will NEVER share His glory with any mortal man including yourself, so He waits till you give up all man made help or sources before He steps in to help.

Most often than none, God waits for man to reach its breaking point before He chooses to help, this is the point at which He knows no man can help you including yourself.
This is the point of absolute helplessness and surrenderness to Him.

The reason why God has been unable to help multitude is because, they got to that point of helplessness and yet refused to surrender to God.

Important truth to know about the help of God:
- Don't expect help from a particular person. People whom you believe will help might not be the ones God has ordained to help you.

- You don't need everything and everybody to succeed you only need one person which is GOD alone.

Until you're ready to give it all up for HIM, you are not ready to experience a major help from Him.

*Insights for today: Vain is the help of man including self. If God can't help you, no man can help you.*

Isaiah 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon His afflicted.
49:14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

What have I done that has made God forgotten about me? Does God really care about me? How can I be sure He does care for me when I'm going through this hell? Having so much pain?
Or are you asking yourself like Joseph, what is the essence of fearing God or what is the point of being righteous when all you can get in return is rejections and frustrations.

This is a question that can really make us wonder at times. God oftentimes says in a prophecy things like, “Soon this will happen,” or “Very soon you will come into the ultimate plans that I have in store for you.” The person who hears words like this may well think that “soon” will mean next week, or at the latest, towards the end of that year.

However, with God, His time table is very different from ours. Soon to Him, can be a very relative term. How long did Joseph have to wait until the promises given to him had come to pass?

What about the children of Israel who were told that they would come into their promised land? Did it happen within the year they were told this? No, they waited and waited, eating manna in the wilderness and grumbling over many things. We have only to read about many of the patriarchs and prophets of old, to know that the word “soon” wasn’t necessarily “soon in man's time table" to them. And yet they waited and waited, and we could see ultimately the promise was fulfilled.

The same is true for us today as we wait upon those promises which we know of that God has said to us.
When we have heard God whisper to us about these things we need to remember these things. But as we ponder the promises spoken to us through a genuine prophetic word or from something He said to us, we can be assured that it will come to pass.

Remember that, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” Isaiah 40:31.

His promises are true. They can be trusted, and we can lean upon them as we dwell upon His word being strengthened everyday. Each day will then bring us further and further down the road of the fulfillment of those things that have been promised to us.

*Insights For Today: Be still and know that He is God.*

Romans 8:28 And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Joseph was not in Egypt by choice, and he had no idea how God was working. The head jailer put Joseph in charge of the other prisoners (Genesis 39:21-23). Now, that’s not exactly something you would brag about—“ Got the promotion! I’m head prisoner in the jail!”—but the diligence and excellence he displayed there ended up being critical not only in his life, but for the lives of many others as well.

Think of Jesus as he hung on the cross. Beaten, bloody, and dying in agony—it doesn’t get much worse than that. It was the greatest evil in world history, but God used it to accomplish the greatest good for all mankind.

When Jesus was at His lowest point, He was right in the very heart of God’s plan for world redemption. And when He rose from the dead, He opened the way to eternal life for all who believe.

So if you are suffering right now; if you are in the middle of a unexplainable circumstance that makes you feel like God has forgotten you, take heart. You are in the very hands of a loving God, and you cannot yet see how He will redeem this period in your life. But He is using this period in your life to make you
more like his Son.

God is not content to merely balance out evil. He does not simply counteract darkness and suffering. What Joseph’s brothers did to him was evil, but it led directly to his ability to save the lives of many people.

Notice one very important thing about what the suffering of Jesus tells us: In the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He enters into death itself and transforms it making it no longer the end but now the door to eternal life and abundant joy.

The greater the evil, the greater the transformation God will accomplish. Look at pauls writing, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18)".

Someone may say, "well, He has just forgotten about me, I don't even know if He cares that I am alive or not" but I want you to know that He has you in mind and that you're still alive is a clear proof that He has you in mind.

*Insights For Today, Everything that you go through in life were all meant to walk and work together for your good whether they are good or seemingly bad.*

♦ *TOPIC: BELOVED, WHY NOT WAIT? (BLESSINGS ARE TIME SENSITIVE)*

Joel 2:23
[23] Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain IN THE FIRST MONTH.

Look keenly at the ending portion of the above scripture "...and He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain IN THE FIRST MONTH.." The rain will not come down except it is in the first month. This means that, prophecies are time bound.

Alot has been said by God about the blessings of 2019. This year is indeed a good year, it is a year filled with pleasant shocking surprises and thus we must get ready for a paradigm shift.

Ecclesiastics 3:1 and Hab 2:3 further confirms that everything under the heaven has its time for their fulfillment and manifestation.

Genesis 37-50 tells the story of Joseph, the son of Jacob. God blessed Joseph richly and used him powerfully, but only after Joseph had been in slavery and prison for 13 years. The Bible gives us many examples of people who had to wait for God.

Jesus the first Son of God couldn't began to be unless He was 30 years. If Jesus had to wait for God's timing, why are you in haste?
Abraham had a specific word of promise from God but yet he had to wait for 15 Years to see the promised child. Do you think it is easy to wait year after year for a child that God Himself had promised to give you? Beloved, Abraham waited, WHY NOT WAIT A LITTLE LONGER?

Zechariah wasn't permitted to give birth unless it was very close to the time Jesus was to be born, David was anointed but yet had to wait for a certain number of years for him to be physically enthroned, he couldn't become king unless that time came. BELOVED, WHY NOT WAIT?

*Insight For Today: Moses knew on time who he was meant to be, he knew right early that he was born to deliver his generation but he had to wait too. BELOVED, WHY NOT WAIT A LITTLE LONGER?

*_Prayer Point: Father, I thank you for your word that has come to me today, I ask Lord that you will help me to build my relationship with you and my faith in you while I wait for the fulfillment of prophecies in Jesus name.. Keep walking by faith_*

9 Because you've made the Lord your refuge and the most high your habitation.
10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

Every scriptural provisions or promises has scriptural conditions attached to them. You can't get that which He has said if you're not willing to do that which He demands from you. For instance, God's promised on prosperity is real but the conditions are that "you must tithe, give, honour your parents and walk in obedience, etc".
The same thing applies to being kept in perfect peace and safety by God. God promised to give you peace ALWAYS and by ALL MEANS 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means.... what He is saying here is that, no matter what It will take Him, He will ensure that you're kept in perfect peace even if He will have to kill for you to have peace, He said, He will do it.

But it is clear from scriptures that there are conditions that must be met before we enjoy the peace and safety that comes from God and we can see some of the conditions from our text in Psalms 91:9-11

★ make the Lord your refuge and your dwelling place.
Evil will not befall you if God is your hiding place. If you're in Him, you will be kept by Him. It is when you're in Him that His angels can watch over you. You can't experience the ministry and constant watch of the angels if you refuse to dwell in Him.

*Insights For Today: If you can't do what He says you should do, don't expect to see what He says you will see. God ALWAYS keeps His own and if you're HIS own, you will always be kept by Him as long as you're willing to do His bidding and abide in Him.*

Luke 1:57 Now ELISABETH'S FULL TIME CAME that she should be delivered.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

It was at the age of 30 that Jesus himself began to be (Luke 3:23). He couldn't be unless he was up to 12 years old. What if He had spent time worrying when He was 9 or ten years and we also saw that, He was launched into ministry at the age of 30. What if He had wasted the whole 18years worrying and asking God certain unreasonable questions like many of us do today?

Someone very close to me said, in everything, Olatunde, you're fond of saying "don't worry". And when I observed, i noticed it was true but the actual truth is that how can I be doing God's business? My business is to love, seek and serve Him irrespective of all that is happening. Besides, He Himself asked me not to worry. Worrying will amount to faithlessness and a proof of lack of trust in Him. I am not saying this is easy but I know it is possible. Three words are very close to my heart, "Hallelujah! Thank you Holy Spirit and don't worry".

Your time is coming, don't kill yourself because you are jobless, homeless, delayed, stagnated. Don't frustrate your destiny for nothing. Zachariah was not praying for child at the time the angel came which shows that God had heard his prayer a very long time ago. The reason why it seemed God was silent when Zachariah asked was because God had already ordained a time for Him to be visited.

Everything you're to do and become in life had been ordained by the Lord long before you were born, so *God was not thinking of what to do with you after He had made you because He already planned every single thing you will do and become long before you arrive in your mother's womb.*

In life, you will see things happen but do not worry, your full time will suddenly show up. I decree by the power of God, your full season is activated in Jesus name. You shall experience the mighty hand of God and your soul shall find true rest in Jesus name.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Be careful for nothing, your life is secured in Him. As long as He is not a man, you have no single need to worry but just ensure you follow His leading so that you may not end up in having loses.*

Ecclesiastes 10:15 The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

Consistency means to keep at something or to keep doing the same thing over and over again. It also means to be dogged in pursuit of something.

But people are not just consistent at a cause or people are not just consistent without a reason. You can't just wake up overnight and decide to keep doing something, it won't work that way and even if you start it, you will soon stop doing it because you never knew why you started it and what you want to get from doing it.
There are certain forces that powers consistency. one of which is knowledge and this is also divided into two categories:

1. Knowledge of what you want: If you don't know what you want, you can never be consistent in your pursuit of your goals or dreams. If you don't know what you want, you can't recognize it when you see it.

2. Knowledge of how to get it: people who know what they want and do not know how to get it also die of frustrations. This is why so many people have desires but not all their desires are being fulfilled because they are not doing anything in line with such desires and how can they do something meaningful when they have no idea on what to do or how to get it.

*Insights For Today: It is knowing what you want and knowing what is required that fuels consistency. How will you consistently do something that you're not aware of?*

Life is usually known to be shrouded in pains, troubles, delays and so much huddles and thus, everyone has one challenge or the other.

But while some have overcome theirs, so many others don't even know what to do to come out of their own challenges.

We shall be looking at one vital key to overcoming life's trials or challenges today and some others in the subsequent parts.

★ DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF TIMES AND SEASONS: Have a deep understanding that your turn or time will come. There is something about having certain knowledge that will give you strange confidence and rest even in the midst of troubles or trials of life.

It is generally noted that people are fond of comparing themselves with others and thus have a risk of envying the other person in a negative way.

In the book of Luke 1:57, the bible says a time came in the life of Elizabeth when it was now fully time for her to deliver.

If you start reading from Luke chapter 1:11, you will find out that Zachariah wasn't even praying and asking God for a child before the angel came in and told him his prayers has been heard and that he would have a son.

The mystery about time is something that only God Himself can explain.
You must know with certainty that time is a revealer, there were certain things that were not happening in my life until certain times came.

Whether you like it or not, whether you're prepared for it or not, your time will definitely come as long as you're alive. It is turn by turn. Elizabeth didn't need any prayer point when her full time came. May the Lord hasten your time to be visited in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Samuel 10:11 And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

In life, there are changes that takes place and people don't really notice such but there are some other changes that takes place that nobody can deny, such changes are too undeniable and too drastic not to be noticed. The people who had always been around Saul knew that something strange had happen to him. It was not a sign or a change that is hidden, it is something that was too evident to be mistaken.

Many who had been around him knew who he was, he thought he was hidden but they know him too well for them not to notice the great change. If God can change Saul, He can change any body, if He can make a way for the children of Israel then, what else can't He do?

He changed the life of Moses, a chicken hearted man became a ruler of God's own inheritance just by the mystery of power.

The power of God is illimitable and if there is someone that the power couldn't change, it is that, such a person has adamantly chosen not to be changed.

Is Saul also among the prophets? How was he able to prophesy for the first time coming in the midst of prophets. He had nothing to learn, it was all an instantaneous change by association

*Insights For Today: God can change anybody but before any change occur there must first be a submission.*

Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The matter of dressing is a sensitive matter in the body of Christ, this is because it shows everyone who you claim to be. This is why, those who dress well and are moralist are seen as believers.

When you dress properly, you are naturally perceived to be a true Christian. If the world perceive those who dress properly as Christian even though they are not Christians, how then would you say, "It is of the heart".

This message is not coming to you today to condemn you but to correct you and cause you to realign your thought pattern to accommodate the word of God.

Another reason why this message is coming today to you is to warn you of the impending danger of destruction. Yes, I know you're born again but you can't escape hell if your character and dressing sends unbelievers to hell. Have you ever asked yourself why it is easier to serve God in the olden days than in this days?

One of the reasons why it is extremely difficult is NOT because of technological advancement but because of multiplied demonic activities that the devil has sent to destroy your life and destiny through subtilty. Little wonder the word declares " Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?" (Isaiah 42:19).

Did you see what God said over there? He is saying, the person that is deaf and blind is not any other person but my servant. One of the reasons why children of God or servants or ministers of God die like chickens is not because God wants them to die but because countless many of them couldn't see or discern the impending dangers ahead.

If you can't see what the enemy is trying to do, you will be a victim and you will definitely pay for it, we have sets of believers this days who follows people of the world in dressing and actions without even asking God about those things.

God said, don't lean on your own understanding and in all your ways, acknowledge me and I will direct your path". But how many today care to ask?

*Insights For Today: If your content is indeed good, it will affect your container, its only a matter of time. By their fruits, you shall surely know them.*

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Yesterday, we saw that prayerlessness has made our knowledge in this generation literally unfruitful or unproductive. We know too much but yet we experience too little. Today, we shall yet be considering another reason why we know too much but experience too little.

★ Lack of balanced knowledge: This has been a major hindrance or barrier to getting more grace despite our so much knowledge.

Lack of balanced knowledge does not mean that you know nothing or that you know too much. What it means is that, you know too much in an aspect and neglect other aspects that are equally vital to your life and destiny in God. It is having opportunity to learn other things that are vital to you and yet refuse to learn them either due to pride or negligence.

People who have imbalanced knowledge don't usually agree they need to know more. They claim to know all they should know about all they need to know but in the real sense, they lack other major keys to the fulfillment of their destiny.

Imagine you were given a very vast and beautiful house filled with all you will ever need in life. Assuming this house is fenced and locked but ONLY the gate key was given to you.
Now, how do you intend to have access to everything in the house if you weren't given the keys to the main building?

*Insights for today: You will definitely die a pauper if you are bankrupt of the vital knowledge that are necessary to the fulfillment of your destiny. Not to want to know more than what you have known is a demonstration of pride.*

*_Prayer Point: Father, I make demand for that grace to humble myself to learn all I need to know in order to fulfill destiny in an outstanding manner in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*

2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

Matthew 6:33 But seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

There is no generation has open to knowledge and Rhema than this generation, knowledge has greatly increased but the tangible presence of God has greatly reduced.

In time past, knowledge was scarce but yet they knew who God really was unlike in our days where people wonder if there is God because He is really scarce and hard to be understood. The scripture says, Grace and peace be multiplied by the knowledge of God but the actual truth is that, the more knowledge we have in this generation, the more bankrupt we get of grace.

God ordained that grace should be multiplied by knowledge but how come we have so much knowledge and yet bankrupt of grace? Is God a liar?

When we speak about seeking God, people do not know that, the more grace is made available to you, the more of Him you will know and handle and the more of Him you can handle, the more peace and rest you will enjoy in life. It is impossible to have grace and not obtain mercy and it is impossible to obtain mercy and not receive help from the Lord (Heb.4:16). This is one thing a God seeker enjoys.

And until you're ready to pursue Him and get at Him, you will still keep chasing after shadows and things that has no true worth in the kingdom.

The problem has never and will never be with God but with us. I have found some reasons why God seems scarce and far despite our knowledge in this generation. We shall be considering one of them today and the others in the subsequent parts.

★ Prayerlessness: This generation hates prayer. We love to sing, shout, dance, spend time reading novels but when it's time for prayer, we feel unreasonably pressured and pushed out of the labour room of prayer. (To be continued!)

*Insights for today: If you find Him, you find answers to everything in life because no single trouble, pain, anxiety or fear can survive in His presence. Seek Him!*

*Prayer Point: Dear Lord, I ask today that you quicken me and make yourself very real unto me in Jesus name (pray in tongues for 30minutes). Keep walking by faith*

Zephaniah 3:15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: THOU SHALT NOT SEE EVIL ANY MORE.

O His steadfast love never fails, His mercies unto us never comes to an abrupt end for they are new every morning and great has been His faithfulness. God's word never fails even if man fails.

Any time a word spoken by God is not fulfilled, the major cause is not because the word failed but because a man failed. The word can never fail but it is man that does fail. If you refuse to take responsibility for the spoken word, you won't see the performance of the spoken word.

In our text today, God declares one of His major counsel for you this year strongly which is "you shall not see evil any more". This is not a suggestion, this is what the Lord has determined to do unto you this year but how do you access such a blessing like this?

1. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
If you don't want to experience any trace of misfortune or unfortunate event this year, you must take heed to the word of God and the word says that "the whole duty of man is to fear God".
2. Remain in and with Him: John 15:7 and 2Chron 15:2 "......The LORD is with you, while ye be with HIM; and if ye seek HIM, HE will be found of you; but if ye forsake HIM, HE will forsake you".

*Insights For Today: If you want God to carry out His own duty, you must of a necessity carry out your own duty. If you don't fear Him, don't expect to be defended by Him.*

Zechariah 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

For a very long time now, men have been moved by the Holy Ghost to prophecy and speak about an upcoming revival, these men longed to see it happen in their time, they having a glimpse foretaste of it and being part of the move at that time prophesied about another move which was greater in dimension and stronger in intensity than that which they had at that time.

We have seen a portion even in our time but the desire of the Father is that we come into a point of accurate alignment with His Holy Spirit so that He can move the way He wants to move in our time.

Yes, God is now ready to move but we understand from scriptures that revival has never come down without certain people's readiness and alignment to the will and purpose of God for the earth.

God has an agenda but He needs men who will be willing to lay down themselves and pay the price of alignment and the major price of alignment is consistency in the place of prayer.

A prepared man is much more valuable to God than a prepared message. There is an assurance that when you seek Him you will find Him but how can you truly find Him whom you never did gave time to seek?

The advantage of revival is that, your life and everything about you changes when the Lord visits. Tomorrow, we shall see certain necessities to seeing the Lord come even has He has spoken.

*Insights For Today: God will do nothing if men refuses to arise and do something. He has sworn to come but if we fail to seek Him, He will come and those who seek Him will see Him while others who refuse to yield will be telling the stories instead of the experience*

Matt 7:7 AMP:Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
Luke 18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

There is a dynamic power in consistency that causes a drastic change of story. The good thing about It is that, it does not only change your situation but it changes you into the best version of you.

What is consistency? Looking at the story of this woman in our text, Consistency is:

~ keeping at something or doing the same thing over and over again.
~ It is being diligent at a pursuit.
~ It is having a desire (goal), knowing what is required and doing what is required for as long as it is required in order to get your desire.

All these qualities can be clearly seen in that woman that needed a change. It therefore goes to say that, "if you truly need a drastic change, you must be desperately consistent in your pursuit".

Consistent people are not easily wearied or burned out they don't easily chicken out or bow to any suggestions whether bad or seemingly good that may try to shift their focus from the cause to which they are desperately pursuing.
They desperately and continually seek a thing until they get that thing whether people are watching or not is not an excuse for those who are consistent because there are people who only do what is right when they see someone but that is not the case for those who are consistent.

*Insights For Today: Consistency is having a desire (goal), knowing what is required and doing what is required for as long as it is required in order to get your desire. You can really have all you desire if you can consistently do what is required.*

Luke 18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

The kingdom of God suffers violence and only the violent takes it by force. The violent does not watch it but takes it. In as much as this world is characterized by so many trials and challenges, we as believers ought to believe in what the Word has said.

Before Jesus left this earth realm physically, He confirmed that in this world, we shall definitely see troubles but in Him we shall have so much peace and rest. This means that, no matter how turbulent or terrible this world is, we can still have peace because Jesus Himself said it.

How then can we have peace or take that which God desires for us if we do not consistently make the demand like that woman?

If you study the story of that woman in Luke chapter eighteen carefully, you will notice that, the king the woman was crying to does not regard God neither does he has any single regard for man but because the woman didn't stop calling on him, he had to respond to her. If therefore a wicked king who does not regard God or man can respond to the cry of that poor and afflicted woman, how much more our heavenly Father who loved us the same way He loved Jesus Christ? (John17:23).

This year is starting and you can get everything you desire as long as it is in line with God's word if you will dare to engage the power of consistency in prayers.

*Insights For Today: It takes the power of Consistency to break the force of stagnation. You can really have them all if you keep asking for all.*

Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

Every price needed for outstanding destiny fulfillment are not paid once and for all but consistently till your destiny is fulfilled. Nothing just happen, things are made to happen through the power of consistency in doing what you ought to do whether it is convenient or not.

Our text today confirms that, both lazy people and diligent or people that work hard have desires but the difference is that, whereas people who are diligent receive something good, those who are lazy also have their own harvest though it is bad.

When God told Eli that himself and his children till eternity will stand before him, Eli thought he had nothing to do in training his children, so he left them.
I believe he was saying, "Father, you said it, so just go on and do it on your own" while he failed to bring up his own children in the way of the Lord.
If you know your destiny is great, get ready to also sacrifice great things consistently.
*Insights For Today: If you follow the crowd, you will be lost in the crowd but if you follow the Lord, you can't but end in distinction*

♦ *TOPIC: CONSISTENCY part 1*

Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

Consistency is a department of faith and it a potent means of confirming diligence. In order words, you can never claim to be diligent or hard work if you're not consistent.

Anything at all you consistently do literally becomes an habit most especially when your heart goes deeply into it. Chain smokers or or people addicted drugs didn't just start that over night, it took time. They had to first taste it and then continually take it until they become inseparable from it.

The same thing applies to the things of God, for instance, nobody under heaven will ever need to beg me to build my relationship with Jesus or beg me to tell others about Jesus and this is not because I am not aware that so many people today are faking their relationship with Jesus. And I can boldly tell you that "those who fall away due to trials of life were not consistent enough before the trials came".

Haven't you notice chain smokers? Even when they want to stop smoking, they find it so difficult to do, irrespective of the weather condition, whether cold or hot, even when the smoke is chopping off their lungs and damaging their kidney, they remain highly interested and committed to smoking and drinking.

I haven't found a believer who is truly consistent and yet falls away. The reason why people fall easily is because they were not truly committed and consistent until the day they were tempted to give up or fall away.

I love to counsel using this particular statement "whatever you don't want to continue doing in life or with somebody, don't start it". For instance, you like to hug people both man and woman when you see them as a means of greeting them but after you do that for awhile and a day comes when you were not really in the mood or when you just wanted to shake hands, the person may think something is wrong or he/she may say something like "maybe I have hurt him/her in one way or the other" these assumptions may not necessarily be true but because you have been used to greet everybody in that way, anytime you don't do it, you may suddenly become an enemy. There are also many other cases but anything at all that you can't continue with, maybe dress style, Lifestyle, etc its better you don't start it and the tragedy is that multitude in this generation don't know there are prices to pay for their glorious destiny to be actualized.

For example, If you know your vision as a woman is to end as a pastors wife, you can't afford to dress anyhow now because you are a major example people are looking at and it is so unfortunate that many look at great people and aspire to be like them without knowing the price those people paid to arrive where they are.

*Insights For Today: You're still foolish if you think things just happen because God said them. If you refuse to take responsibility for your destiny and pay the required prices and sacrifice needed or demanded, you may never see the fulfillmemt of such destiny.*

MEDITATION FOR TODAY: A life without consistency in doing what is required will only end in abrupt destruction.
