DREAMS Part 3

The ability to dream is a good gift from God but the reason you must be careful is because, the devil loves to show himself wherever he sees God at work. If God is not working in you, the enemy will NEVER come around you. The devil is such a busy dude who doesn't have time for useless things, if he doesn't try you it means you have nothing of value in you that can attract him. If he doesn't near you, you're a waste.
At the end of this teaching, you will know and develop strong ability to discern the voice of God to you through dreams and through other forms of revelations.
Remember from one of the text we've been using since the beginning of this series "the devil is transformed into an angel of light".
The reason the Holy Spirit is placing so much emphasis on discerning is because the devil has an ability to reveal things to you that are true.
he appeared to Jesus and showed him certain things but what helped Jesus was that He knew it was the devil showing Him all those things and this was what made it easier for Him to overcome the devil. The reason for the defeat many suffer is due to the inability to discern if a dream or revelation is coming from God or not. He didn't just appear to Jesus in a dream, it was physically.
You're already mistaken if you think the devil will manifest himself to you with horns in his head. he can take any form and he can appear to you in what seems to be like a cloud, many have already been deceived by this also.
To be an overcomer in life you must stay awake spiritually. Be sober and vigilant, this is because your adversary the devil is moving about as a roaring lion NOT seeking whom he may play with but whom he may devour.
Secrets or what it takes to have strong ability to discern. You will always know who is talking to you if:
1. You're addicted to seeking God (Addiction to prayer, The word and worship or praise).
2. You judge all revelations to know if it's inline with the written Word of God.
3. If your faith is builded enough to walk on waters (I do not mean literal or physical water/river here).
4. Unusual Hunger for God and to know and have more of Him.
This fourth point is the major point and all the other three can be found in it. When you have such an hunger that cannot be satisfied by anything else, you will have no choice than to constantly appear before Him.
Tomorrow I'll show you one major secret that will give you a lasting breakthrough in this Christian race. It does not just pertain to dreams alone but to every form of revelations including the promises in the written Word of God. Hallelujah!
