TAKE THE WHOLE NOT SOME

Ephesians  6:11 PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
6:16 Above all, taking the SHIELD OF FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to QUENCH ALL the fiery darts of the wicked.

Believers have been defeated not because of the strength of the adversary but because of the insufficiency of the weapons and armors available unto them. God said in Hosea 4:6 *MY PEOPLE* are destroyed because of the lack of knowledge. This goes to say that, that you are God's own does not mean you can't be destroyed.

If you do not want to be destroyed or fall victim to all the whiles of the devil, you MUST take the whole armour of God. Taking some of the armours and weapons will still make you a victim.

For instance from our text, the shield of faith can quench ALL the fiery darts of the enemy but many people have taken the helmet of salvation, taken the sword of the Spirit, the breast plate of righteousness and they even preach the gospel but because they refuse to build up their faith, they still find themselves suffering defeat.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: Are you putting on the whole armour of God? The reason for the defeat is not because you don't have some of the armours and weapons needed, it is because you don't have all. You need all not some to walk in total liberty and victory.

*Prayer: Father, I destroy every resistances of darkness resisting my engagement in the development of my faith for total victory and liberty. I receive grace and strength now in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
