♦ *TOPIC: KNOWLEDGE, OBEDIENCE AND HAPPINESS*

 John 13:17 If you know these things, happy are you if you do them.

Your happiness is tied to your knowledge. You can't be at peace or happy if you don't know and if you know and refuse to do that which you know, you can't have peace.. What you know can either cause you trouble or give you total rest.
You can't do what you don't know and if you know and yet you refuse to do it, you can't be happy.

What you know has a long way in giving you total peace. Assuming, you need a child and suddenly you took in but you're not aware of it, for the few months that you're not aware that you are pregnant, you will still be living in unhappiness until the day you started having pregnancy symptoms and you decide to go for checkup then you discover that you're now pregnant, the joy and euphoria of that knowledge and action will swallow up all past unhappiness and tears.

 Obedience is key to happiness, having the knowledge of a truth is not enough, you must endeavor to engage it or else, you may never get positive results and it is the results you get by engaging the word that gives you happiness.

For example, God said He will keep you in perfect peace if only your mind is stayed on Him but how can He keep you in perfect peace if you know this and yet refuse to do it?

If therefore you choose to learn and live in obedience, you're on a pathway to unending happiness.

*Insights For Today: Unhappiness could also be as a result of ignorance and after knowing, it is in doing the word you know that you find happiness. If you don't do the word, your happiness is not guaranteed irrespective of what you know.*

*_Prayer point: Worship and thank God for His word and ask Him to help you live a life of absolute ovedience to His word.. Keep walking by faith_*
