♦ *TOPIC: RECEIVING ANSWERS THROUGH THANKSGIVING*

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Praying and asking without thanking is playing without knowing and any prayer without thanksgiving is a powerless and an incomplete prayer.
Anytime you pray and fail to thank God, you are only playing and this is what we are doing today and yet expect to see or get answers from God.
You must understand that God is not moved by tears inasmuch as He pities those going to severe and painful seasons, *HE IS NOT MOVED BY TEARS BUT BY FAITH.* The bible declares that those who walk after the flesh can never please the Lord and we understand that "tears" is a voice of the flesh" and thus we are encouraged to walk in the Spirit which entails working by faith.
Do you remember what Jesus said when he came across that widow of Naine who lost her ONLY son? Jesus said, "weep not" and I begin to wonder, how will you just come across a woman who had lost her husband and now is losing her Only son and on their way to bury the child and yet you're asking her not to cry. That's strange, isn't it?
Sure, it is but that's the language of the Spirit.
Now, we understand from scriptures that thanksgiving is a potent force and way of expressing our faith in the Almightiness of God. If you believe God, you will sing His praise (Psalm 106:12). and Abraham also demonstrated this so much through his action while waiting for the promises (Rom 4:20).
The remaining days of this year should be for thanksgiving, praising and celebrating His help and grace. You may not have experienced all you need but you have seen Him do even if it's only one. Thank Him for that one and the privilege of being alive is another thing you must celebrate Him for.
*Insights for Today: You can still take delivery of your remaining packages for this year vial thanksgiving. Remeber, asking without thanking is playing without knowing and any prayer without thanksgiving is a powerless and an incomplete prayer.*
