♦ *TOPIC: PATHWAYS TO THE BLESSINGS OF GOD*

Psalms 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that FEARETH THE LORD, that DELIGHTETH GREATLY IN HIS COMMANDMENTS.
Access to the blessings is not by chance or by luck but by deliberately engaging some scriptural truths, let's look at these two pathways to the blessings:
1. The Fear of God: The fear of God talks about the reverence of God and also having an awe or sense of deep respect for God. God is saying, “if we fear Him, we can’t escape His blessings”.
2. Delighting in the word of God: Delighting in His word has to do with giving the word high preference or simply say “esteeming the word”. The scripture says in 1Sam 2:28 that if we honor Him, He will honour us and if we esteem Him, the same thing will He do for us but if we do not esteem Him, He said, He Himself will disregard us.
However, it is unfortunate to see so many people desire the blessings of God and yet don’t have interest in the word of God which gives us access to the blessings.
When you have little regard for the word, you are simply expressing your disregard for the blessings, in other words, you’re simply saying “I don’t need the blessings”.
*Insights For Today: You can't escape the blessing if you engage these two forces*
*_Prayer Point: Father, baptize me with the grace to reverence you and have regard or respect for your word in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*
