DO YOU KNOW HIM? PART 2

Hebrews  12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, *let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably* with reverence and godly fear.
Deuteronomy  28:47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
  28:48 *"Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies...."*
Psalms  100:2  Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

2. It is possible to be serving the devil while claiming to be physically serving God. (Read the text again).

Do you not know that not all service are acceptable unto the Lord?
People may be busy clapping for you while God is just there weeping over you. Many times, we have turned the praise by men to be a sign of approval by God. We have made the praise by men superior to the praise by God. Multitude of us are comfortable by men praising us than heaven rejoicing over us.

Your rewards are not guaranteed as long as you keep serving GOD with gloominess instead of in gladness.

This is the reason very multitude are ignorantly serving the devil and yet claimed to be serving God. They are serving God but yet God sees it as though they are busy serving the enemy.

3. God is looking for certain people: another great truth we must understand is that, God Himself is looking for certain men/women. If you truly want to seek Him and find Him you must understand that, GOD Himself is already looking for certain people and when you know the kinds of people God is already looking for, by positioning yourself properly, He Himself will find you.
Two kinds of people God is busy looking for:
1. Those who seek Him ( 'GOD SEEKERS' ).
 Psalms 53:2  God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
2. Those who Worship Him in Spirit and in truth: John 4:23

*Insights: If you want to know HIM, you MUST seek HIM and it is impossible to serve HIM acceptably if you do not know HIM intimately (Judah Olatunde).*

*Prayer: Mighty Father, thank you for everything you have helped me to know about you. Help me to know you more and serve you acceptably in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
