♦ *TOPIC: Relationship Wisdom (Wisdom) Pt. 2*

Romans  5:5 "...because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us".
James  1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

From the first part, it was established that 'Making God first is the major secret to having a good relationship with others'. You can't have a buoyant relationship with a man/woman if you don't have the love of God flowing in and through you.

Today, we shall be looking at the need for wisdom. Wisdom must also be in place apart from you loving God. I want you to know that, it is possible to love God and yet fall into the wrong hand or fail in marriage. This is NOT because your love for God was not genuine but because you never really take heed to other ingredients needed.

Love is the greatest of all commandments but love alone can't function if other things are not in place. For instance, as important as salt/Maggi is, it is not enough to cook a sweet stew. Using salt/Maggi only can never give you a perfect and tasty soup. Other ingredients has to be in place in order to make that equation a balanced one.

So many people truly love God but they still lack wisdom. Someone is thinking, "how can I love God and yet lack wisdom?".

Exodus  6:3  And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Abraham was referred to as a friend of God but yet, we saw that what Abraham knew about God was minimal compared to what Moses knew about God. God Himself said, "by my name JEHOVAH was I not made known to Abraham". But how come Abraham never knew that? The reason was not because Abraham wasn't a genuine friend and lover but because he wasn't hungry and inquisitive to know more as Moses. Moses was a very hungry man and thus was able to see and know what Abraham whom God gave a testimony about that he was a very close friend of God.

This was why Apostle James said, "if any man lack wisdom, let him ask". That statement wasn't given to the entire world but unto the believers. You must ask and it shall be given to you.

Another thing we must also take note of is that, it is not enough to just say "Father, give me wisdom". We must also be specific in order to get maximum result from making certain request unto the Lord.
Haven't you seen people who have billions and yet are complete failures in marriage and other things? Haven't you seen men who have enough strength to work and are not employed because they don't have the skill in doing the work? Haven't you seen anointed men fail in marriages? Is it because they didn't carry God? Was it because they were not successful in other areas of life?

It is worthy of note to know that, the wisdom to make money is not the same with that of the one you will need to have success in your home and relationship, the wisdom to build the ministry God has committed into your hands is not the same with that one which will make you succeed in home and so on. Therefore, you must be specific in your request for wisdom. We shall look at some wisdom keys tomorrow.
