♦ *TOPIC: FAITHFULNESS (THE LIFE OF JOSEPH) Pt. 2*

Hebrews  3:2 WHO WAS FAITHFUL TO HIM THAT APPOINTED HIM, AS ALSO MOSES WAS FAITHFUL in all his house.

3:5 AND MOSES VERILY WAS FAITHFUL IN ALL HIS HOUSE, AS A SERVANT, FOR A TESTIMONY OF THOSE THINGS WHICH WERE TO BE SPOKEN AFTER.

Genesis  39:9  There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: HOW THEN CAN I DO THIS GREAT WICKEDNESS, AND SIN AGAINST GOD?

We saw the example of Moses and Jesus Christ our Lord in the first part and we also saw how God honoured Moses to the point where his faithfulness was compared to that of our Lord but today, we shall consider the life of Joseph.

JOSEPH: He was another man who demonstrated his faithfulness to God in an unbelievable manner. In the midst of what multitude of people of our time will call open door and honour, Joseph rejected it and stood his ground against such.

Many men and women will consider the option of gaining wealth and possession at the expense of their relationship and love for God but this young boy called Joseph stood his ground and refused to compromise and fall into sin choosing to suffer rather than enjoy the pleasure of sin for a moment and no wonder, God decorated him with such an honour and favour that no mortal man who lived before him has ever enjoyed neither after him.

Resisting sin is a demonstration of obedience and faithfulness to the word of God.

We fail to learn a great truth from the story of Joseph. The kind of honour and favour he got was such a one that has never been heard before and till today such has never reoccurred. I call it, "the first and the last order of favour and honour".

*Insights For Today: Faithfulness to God causes you to enjoy the flow of abundance. You can't be faithful to God and die a pauper and in dishonour/disfavour.*

*_Prayer Point: Father, help me and baptise me with the grace to remain faithful to you in everything and at every time and as I remain faithful like Joseph in my walk with you, give me an honour that is uncommon in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*
