♦ *TOPIC: CONSISTENCY AND PRAYER Part 2*
*_By: Judah Olatunde_*
Luke 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, LEST BY HER CONTINUAL COMING SHE WEARY ME.
This widow woman cried to the wicked king. Another reason why we say a person is wicked is because such a person is heartless or has no feeling of remorse or pity for others. This is the kind of man that woman cried unto and yet, she got her answer. If a wicked and heartless man could not withstand the cry of a woman, is it our loving Almighty God and Father that will not answer us when we call.
The best time to keep praying is when you have been asking and yet haven't gotten answers, don't let the circumstances of life determine how consistent you are in your prayer life. Zacharias was a genuine servant of God and he prayed for long for a child and it almost seem its impossible to carry a baby but he didn't allow that one to hinder him in his consistent walk with the Lord.
In Luke chapter one verse six, we can see that Zachariah was blameless, walking in all the commandments of God. He didn't allow his circumstances affect his devotion or soil his walk with God.
Beloved, don't be carried away by the wind of affliction, you will have experiences which may even make people question your walk with God but keep walking in obedience because God will always show up if you don't stop walking according to His word.
God will always show up if you keep seeking Him. If God could not withhold the gift of Jesus from us, there is absolutely nothing he can withhold from us..
*Insights For Today: In consistency lies the power to break resistances. Just trust in Him and be consistent.*
*_Prayer Point: Ask for the grace to remain consistent in prayers, go on and thank Him in the Spirit. Keep walking by faith_*
TODAY'S MEDITATION: Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
