♦ *TOPIC: Brought into Captivity by Iniquity.*

 John  5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, *BEHOLD, THOU ART MADE WHOLE: SIN NO MORE, LEST A WORSE THING COME UNTO THEE.*

Sin attracts affliction and to live in sin is to live in bondage because the spirit of infirmity is responsible for people's captivity.

Now, there are many ways in which men suffer affliction or brought into captivity, few of them are:
* through personal sinful act.
* through parental sin or evil act.
*through association with the sinful or by company with the wicked.
* and through witchcraft operations and manipulations.

★The one we are looking at today is personal sinful act. This is the state whereby a man attracts affliction due to his own personal way of life. Some people say "how can a fish live in water and not swim? i.e how can we live in this wicked world full of sinful acts and not commit sin?"

But the correct answer is that we can live in this world full of wickedness and not commit sin because scripture already declares that once you're born again, you're not of this world and the wicked one is not permitted to touch you but if you don't keep yourself, the wicked one has the full right and authority to touch you.

You can't be playing with the devils property and not invite the devil to dwell with you. Dwelling in sin and unrighteousness is sending invitations to the enemy and signing an agreement with them in order to afflict you.

This is what you do any time you choose to commit sin. You invite the enemy and sign an agreement of affliction that God Himself has no right to alter except you confess and forsake that sin genuinely.

*Counsel: Beloved, don't play with sin if you font want to end in captivity but if you're in captivity due to the sins you've committed, ask God to forgive you and afterwards, sin no more less the worst come upon you.*

 *_Prayer point: Father, whatever I have done that is responsible for the things I am suffering, please, forgive me and deliver me from the consequences in Jesus name. (Take time out today and and thank God extensively in tongues) Amen... Keep walking by faith_*
