2 Kings  19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses..

The Bible declares that God is a merciful God and it will also interest you to know that, the same merciful God is also a consuming fire, He is also a God that killeth.

But inasmuch as God is a consuming fire He doesn't just fight for anybody but for His own people. Check through the bible and see for yourself. You will notice that God only defends those who are called by His name.

From our anchor scripture for today in the book of 2 Kings 19 verse 35 it wasn't even God who moved but a single angel. A single angel moved into the camp of the Assyrians and lay to rest about 185,000 people. And ".....behold, they were all dead corpses..".
The word "behold" there means "See", see, all the enemies of God's people were not only dealt with, they wee permanently laid to rest.

The reason why this word is coming now is because God has made up His mind to defend you and how He will do it shouldn't be your problem, He can decide to do it anyhow or send whosever He pleases but what you should be mindful of is "are you His own? Can God call u His own beloved?" The simple reason why you have to check if you're His own is because God only fights for His own.

*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: if you're truly His own, God will stand to fight for you and you will know indeed that He's God and not man.*

*I decree into your life, may the Lord cause you to enjoy in this month of December all that you should have enjoyed that had been held down for so long in Jesus name. (Spend at least 1 hour thanking Him today).*
