John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, *VERY COSTLY*, and anointed the FEET OF JESUS, and wiped HIS FEET with HER HAIR: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
Yesterday, we draw a. conclusion by asking a question, DO NOT ONLY JUST THINK OF WHAT YOU WILL GET THIS SEASON, THINK OF WHAT YOU WILL GIVE HIM. What then will you give Him that is of utmost value?
The only thing that is of utmost value is souls. The only reason why Jesus came was because of souls. All He came for was to save. I believe, He wouldn't have agreed to come if it was just because of mundane things.
Even from the prophecies that was given before His birth, we saw they He came to seek and save that which was lost and if there was no one that was lost, He would never have showed up in this fast degenerating earth realm.
What mary did was extremely prophetic to the burying and resurrection of Jesus Christ because Jesus Himself confessed it (John 12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this).
The wealth of the world is not equal to a soul and if it was, Jesus would have given up the wealth of the world in order to redeem us instead of giving up Himself. *The value of anything is in the price paid for that thing.*
The wealth of the world couldn't buy us back but only the blood of Jesus could and that was why Jesus laid down His glory, kingdom and power just to see that man is saved from eternal destruction.
*Counsel: Beloved, souls are the only thing you can give to Him that will really make the most sense to Him. Win a soul this week and tell Him, this is your birthday gift Lord.*
*_Prayer Point: Ask for God's help to win at least one soul this December... Keep walking by faith_*
