♦ *TOPIC: MAD AT HIM? (OFFENDED IN HIM?) Part 1*

Luke  7:23  And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Many times we really do get mad at God, we do mostly because of what we go through, the trials, challenges, the several expectations that we have that have not been met, the several questions life trials posed at us that have not received answers, and the intensity of battles we tend to fight on the way to our promised land. We get mad while wondering and asking "why should this happen to me as a Christian?".

 Just like the children of Israel, some of us even got angry and say certain unpleasant words at God in such situations and some others just back out and drop the matter of Christianity, some didn't back out of Christianity entirely but thry left church never to return again. Are you mad at Him?

I've met certain people who left church due to their anger against God. Some of them don't even want to hear anything about God, they just wanted to be left alone.
The story of one was the brother I met while waiting for someone's at a park, this brother was a firebrand and was even in the choir but got offended in Him and left church never to return their again. He was glad I did met him and redirected him and so many others are like him. I thank God he left but was still ready to listen to talks about God while I've met someone else who never wanted to hear anything that has to do with God.

John the Baptist got angry too when he put himself into trouble by standing in the office that was not meant for him, he entered trouble when he began to involve himself in palace matters that didn't concern him.

Jesus is asking today, are you offended in me?

*Insights For Today: are you offended in Him because you are going through unpleasant seasons? Indeed you will go through trials and intense troubles not because you have sinned or because you're a sinner but for His namesake. He Himself being our Lord learnt obedience through the things He suffered*.

*_Prayer:  Father, I ask for the grace to remain standing in you and not to get offended in you irrespective of all that I go through for your namesake in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith_*
