DO YOU UNDERSTAND? PART 2

Matthew  16:19  "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven....".

Luke 8:10 "And He said, unto you is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God..."


In the natural world and realm where we live, if you do not have the key to open a particular door, you can't gain access to anything that may be inside that house. So also in God's kingdom, the keys we have access to will determine our level of perception of the mysteries of God.

Jesus said in luke8:10 that once you're a believer you will have access to not only knowing or hearing the mysteries like others but you will also be able to understand them. Yesterday we saw three reasons why believers have not been able to see and understand the mysteries of the kingdom where they belong and today, we shall be considering another two major reasons:

1. Not knowing you have the key with you: Jesus told us in John Chapter 16 that It was expedient for Him to go so He could send the Holy Spirit unto us. Now, after receiving the gift of the person of the Holy Spirit multitude still remain in the company of the dead because they don't know whom they have received is the real mystery behind the unfolding of every mysteries in the kingdom.
These set of believers have the real master key but are ignorant about what they have.

2. Complacency:  I refer to this as having the key to a house but yet choosing to relax outside the house and thus suffering from cold and mosquito bites outside. Multitude of believers actually have certain vital keys that can give them strange access but are comfortable staying outside the house.

For instance, some are suffering from one sickness or constant demonic oppressions and they understood very well the mystery of prayer but because they love too much sleep, they wouldn't be able to stand in prayer to repel all satanic arrows.

They are so relaxed that they can doze off in prayers when they have the understanding that, the major reason they were suffering from the oppressions was due to their too much snoring. Woe unto them who are at ease or complacent in Zion.

*Prayer: Dear Lord, Give me the grace and strength to engage every mystery I know, help me dear Lord in this area of my life (mention them), thank you Lord for answered prayers in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
