Luke 22:37 "....for the things concerning me have an end".
Proverbs 23:18 For SURELY THERE IS AN END; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
God was not dead when the children of Israel were weaping and heavily loaded with intense burden and load. God was not sleeping when they finally thought "wow, we have escaped from the hand of our oppressors" and yet there was the red sea that needed to be crossed, God was not sleeping when pharaoh and his army pursued the children of Israel.
They thought they would be swallowed up but God made a way of escape even in a situation where there was no single way around. Most a times when we think about the red sea, we think it is just a kind of small stream, many don't have a clue how wide and deep that sea was. It was not just a river, it took them the whole night to cross by foot. You should know that is not just a small one.
Proverbs 23:18 For SURELY there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
The scriptures can not be broken, if God says surely there is an end, no power of hell is permitted to prolong your season because heaven has said SURELY.
Who has the authority to decide when your seasons will end?
1. God: God has sworn already saying, no matter what the enemy has thought concerning you, His plans for you shall prevail and He has also concluded by saying 'there is an end and your own expectations shall not be cut off'.
2. You: if you refuse to cooperate with God, you will continue to experience unnecessary delays and prolonged seasons of intense pain. When the time comes for you to be delivered and you walk in disobedience or you do not follow the instruction He has given you, you will remain on that spot and may even be more tormented and burdened than ever before.
It is not the enemy that will decide when your seasons will end but GOD and 'you'. Only God and you have the final saying over your life.
God did not say, 'maybe, there will be an end', He said, 'surely/certainly, there is an end'. According to Him, you're not permitted to remain the same but It is now left to you.
*INSIGHTS FOR TODAY: When God says surely, He means surely. Take Him at His word!. He is not a man that He should lie.(JUDAH OLATUNDE)
*Prayer: Dear Lord, I commit all I am into your hands, let me not be the enemy of my own destiny and I ask that you help me to receive all you have ordained for me in this season in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
