1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
There are certain things which we have come to naturally believe based on what we have been taught but as we keep growing in our walk with God, many of us still hold dearly to those certain unscriptural revelations which should have been done away with.
Believers have been made to think that the first great enemy of Faith is sin. But that's not really true. The first major enemy of faith is prayerlessness. The reason is because if you're not prayerful, you Will fall into sin and if you fall into sin, your conscience cannot be clear and if your conscience is not clear, there is no way you can stand before God boldly or lay hold of the word of God becos it takes a clear conscience to walk in unfeigned and unflinching faith.
*Your prayerlessness is the reason for your lack of confidence and boldness before God and man.*
Peter had a direct prophecy that he would deny Jesus but not too long after that, Jesus gave the solution but he refused to take heed.
Jesus said, 'Peter, rise and pray so that you won't fall into temptation', but peter refused to pray and he fell. What led to his fall was not the fact that the sin or temptation came but the fact that he refused to pray when he should have prayed.
This is the reason why the importance of prayer cannot be overemphasized. When you're prayerless, you will be faithless.
*Insights for today: Prayerlessness establishes a man in faithlessness. You can't be prayerful and not be faith-full (Judah Olatunde).*
*Prayer: Mighty Father, I come to you just as I am, I need your help dear Lord. Empower me for conquest as I make myself available daily at the place of prayer in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
