YOUR HEART AND YOUR RESULTS (THE STATE OF YOUR HEART AND YOUR RESULTS IN LIFE) PART 1

Luke 1:18 Zachariah said unto the angel, how (whereby) shall I know this? For i am an old man and my wife well stricken in years. He was asking for a sign.

Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know no man?

Do you know that Zachariah's word was not a complete statement of unbelief?
Look at the our text properly and compare His words with the words of Mary.

New Living Translation Luke 1:18,34 Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years.” Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”

Zacharaih was asking for a sign like Moses asked. He wasn't speaking a complete word of unbelief.

Both Zachariah and Mary were giving reasons why they were not expecting any baby but the state of their hearts were different.

When God told him, you will have a child, he was asking physically with his mouth how it will happen but in his mind and heart, he was saying something like this. "I have waited for so long, I dont think so". But Mary believed the words in her heart.

What you say in your mind (your thoughts) are more stronger than what you say with your mouth.
Words in your heart carry more weight than the words in your mouth. Ephesians 3:20 says God is able to do exceeding and abundantly and above all we can ever ASK or THINK. Meaning the same way God hearts you voice is the same way He hears your thoughts.

The reason why he was smitten with dumbness was because of what he was saying in his mind (heart) not what he was saying with his mouth. Because from the words of the angels, it was clear that he didn't believe. To be continued...

*Insights for today: The words from your mouth carries the same weight before the Lord as the words in your heart. God hears your thoughts just as loud as He could hear your words when spoken out (Judah Olatunde).*

*Prayer: Father, help me not to truncate my own blessings through the thoughts of my heart and give me the grace to always think and speak words inline with your word for me per time in Jesus.. Keep walking by faith*
