PRAYERLESSNESS AND VULNERABILITY

BY:  JUDAH  OLATUNDE

1 Peter  5:8 Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

2 Corinthians  2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

A prayerless man will always be vulnerable to attacks by the devil. If you do not want to be a victim of satanic assaults, manipulations and orchestrations, then you must be prayerful.

In the battlefield, you will be a victim as long as you refuse to shoot your opponent on time. It is not just enough to pray, we must pray on time, we must attack before the enemy attacks. Don't sit and wait until trouble comes before you start praying.

The Lord already implored us to be vigilant because the enemy is always moving to and fro looking for someone to use as a scapegoat. he's not looking for someone to play with but someone to devour or destroy.

Jesus knew that, the easiest way the enemy can take advantage of us is when we are weak. Prayerlessness is what leads to spiritual weakness and because of that Jesus told us in clear terms to ALWAYS PRAY (Luke 18:1).

*Insights for today: When your prayer fire is low, the enemies become very happy because they understand the tremendous power in prayer. Power is made available to the prayerful (Judah Olatunde)*

*Prayer: Father, release on me the grace needed to build my prayer life. Rekindle my prayer fire Lord in Jesus name. Keep walking by faith*
